Braveland

Your village was cruelly raided by bandits! Start as a humble warrior’s son and become a talented commander of your army. Evolve your hero, find artifacts and learn battle magic. Intense boss fights await you at the end of each story chapter. Various warriors will join in your cause – archers, scouts, healers, footmen, arbalesters and more. Command your troops and defeat enemies in hand to hand battles!

It's not like you get to really decide how the game progresses. Sometimes terrible things must happen to you to make transformations in your inner world — young Nolan saw how ferocious bandits killed his father and this injustice has changed him forever. At the end of the game, it does say, end of Book 1. When I purchased the game, I was expecting it to go through different lands, just like in most other games like this but alas, it only goes through 2 areas. I chose the normal setting just to get a feel for the game but it's still a bit of a challenge to defeat your enemies. Recherche Braveland

It is fun, provides a decent level of challenge, and doesn't take Braveland too seriously. I recommend it for those with memories of this sort of games, like me. Keep in mind Braveland archers can attack more effectively from the distant positions as opposed to peasants with pitchforks that attack at close quarters. There are mini bosses you go through to get to the end and then of course the big boss. Nevertheless, it is a fun game and an welcome departure from the grim HO BF is providing daily. Calling this an adventure game, however, Sky Kingdoms a bit of a misnomer. Bravelans you like games Whispered Secrets: Golden Silence Heroes of Might and Magic, you will enjoy this game. The young boy Nolan, whose father was killed, promised to himself that he would kill everyone from that gang, so help him complete his mission! The characters are cute, the Braveland is nice and if you don't want to read it you can click through it quickly. The events in Braveland took place in a small west village where people lived quietly without disturbing neighbors but soon a huge gang of bandits has invaded in the peaceful village to steal harvest. I would have liked a bit more flexibility with which types of soldiers and how many to purchase, and I couldn't understand why the power of the army was limited so you can't use all the most powerful units at the same time - if you have the money, why not?

Dressed in his father armor, Nolan has started the pursuit and he would win lots of battles, calling himself not just Nolan, the Folk but Nolan from the West Village. I recommend it for those with memories of this sort of games, like me.
