This one is highly addictive and I love the way you can make Azkend long chains and the great power-ups. While I did not 2D Mahjong Temple the grid game itself much, the mini-game where you have to match parts of the background picture to itself was a bit frustrating, as it really did not lend Build-a-lot: On Vacation the game much, and some parts of you background looked to similar to Azkene other. This was very much a right-brain part of the game, Garfields Wild Ride I was happy to get back to the left brain part of it when the grids came back up. This game is fun and challenging. You can do it connecting Azkend or even more Azkend with Azkend same pictures. My only beef with the game, and the reason it lost Sparkle Unleashed star, is that it has Azkend timer that cannot be turned off.

I purchased it and don't regret it! I even like the music, tho' I turn off all the bangs, beeps and explosions. Instead of swapping icons, you click and hold your mouse button, and form chains of matching icons, which is easy as long as there are icons to match! Most bonuses activate themselves. Also again I agree the story line was sort of bizarre, and never really explained what the guy was rambling about, but it was pretty much irrelevant. I enjoyed the games addictive nature. As soon as you turn all tiles blue a part of the ancient talisman will appear on the playing field. While I did well playing against the timer, and only had to repeat a few levels a few times, I just don't like the stress of playing against a timer. I would have bought the game if the timer were optional. In order to get a lightning rune you have to break an item over a non-blue tile. After one week of game play you have to find "visions" of the background scenery.

But that was by going back Darwin the Monkey trying each board with a different power-up until I got the precious "STAR" Though I did get expert on one board 5 times and did not get a star. You will have to overcome 70 levels on your way. The graphics and symbols used are lovely and the game play is absorbing. Another play mode would have been good, especially one without an aggravating timer, maybe just points based or something so you can keep building up points as long as possible. My indicator that this is a game I have to purchase. I've played it through to the end about 10 times now and I keep trying to better my levels. There are lots of lightening strikes, explosions, etc. Very relaxing. I'm very rarely into storylines in games The game play is also a little different in that instead of square tiles, they are hexagon-shaped, so the chaining goes off at angles instead of the usual horizontal and vertical directions, which requires you to think a little bit more. Others you activate and will help you immensely. I got to where I didnt care what sort of rating I got for finishing levels, just finishing them at all was an accomplishment. Sound: When the background music started, I felt it was kind of a western sounding like old cowboy music but as it continued on it became strictly lilting, beautiful Asian music. Once the board is cleared and turned all blue, there is an artifact piece that must get to the bottom of the game board by continuing to match 3 or more like items.

I also liked that I could earn new tools the further I went up in levels. One of the scientists decided to return the relics back to the Temple of Time in order to take the curse off. I would have also really liked to be able to get more time as you played, had a better variety of "power ups" - there's certainly alot of them but most are worthless, I ended up doing half the game with the same one. Adventure -A visitor to foreign lands is drawn back to the Orient after finding a puzzling artifact. Game Play does get harder as you level up. There is a storyline. But I did find that some power-ups are better suited for some boards. Some tiles are under ice and you will have to destroy the whole line to melt it.

  1. There is a unique power-up - a lightning storm. The demo is a very quick hour and it's free. The game play is also a little different in that instead of square tiles, they are hexagon-shaped, so the chaining goes off at angles instead of the usual horizontal and vertical directions, which requires you to think a little bit more.

  2. My only beef with the game, and the reason it lost a star, is that it has a timer that cannot be turned off. I strongly encourage everyone to try this game. The point of the game is to make chains of 3 or more like items; the longer the chains, the more help you will receive.

But I did find that some power-ups are better suited for some boards. Week 1, Day 1; Week 1, Day 2. There are lots of lightening strikes, explosions, etc.

It most definitely gets aggravatingly hard as you go, especially near the end, but its really random on the type of set up you get and where the final piece lands.
