The music sounded like a disco tune on fast forward, cheery yes, but seriously irritating, in a game traditionally associated with calm and peaceful sounds. The biggest reason I say it's not worth paying for is the music. I fully recommend it to one and all! It kept dropping out too, while my system tried to cope with it. I say give this a try-and use a game credit--otherwise pass it up. After much consideration I decided to give this game a try and am very pleased I did. Yes, you play the typical way, clear the tiles from the board by matching like symbols. The background was so soothing I fell asleep - ok, guys, I had a really, really rough week so don't judge. So far all the clock is for is to earn a third gold star. The cursor was slow and awkward with no option to have no game cursor. I used the different tiles each tile set has a different level of difficulty , but the same result - stalemate. I say put in better music-then it's worth buying. Give It A Whirl I downloaded demo with every intent on hating this game based on the 3 pix posted on it's product page… and ended up having to revise my prejudgement. But this game managed to really annoy me in only a few minutes. You can always go back and redo a level layout if you got less than 3 stars. I am moving along just fine. Removing silver tiles will refill the Shuffle bonus immediately and there is an icon that allows you to shade unavailable tiles. If we could give half starts this would have gotten 3. The biggest reason I say it's not worth paying for is the music. However, at the beginning of each level you are given a set of criteria to meet to receive up to 3 stars - such as collect "x" number of gold tiles you can't pass the level without collecting them all anyway so I found this rather moot , pass the level in "x" number of moves and I frankly don't remember the third. Not getting all stars which is fine with me since I go for entertainment value and not the competitive value. But this giant hand was just ridiculous and the movement was lurchy and unresponsive. Some graphics too boring and hard to see when looking for matches. This game delivers on that very well. I was forever trying Zumas Revenge plan my moves ahead and even doing that I Mahjong Christmas always one move over the allotted amount. The music is awful. I am moving along just fine.

  2. The goal is to match identical tiles that aren't blocked by other tiles, and all gold tiles must be removed. Trying to uncover all the gold tiles in 'x' amount of moves I found frustrating. Fun factor 2. Happy Gaming! The background was so soothing I fell asleep - ok, guys, I had a really, really rough week so don't judge.

  3. Rating got rounded up because this game doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Nice, casual game playing. Yes, you play the typical way, clear the tiles from the board by matching like symbols. Admittedly, the images, when my pc finally found a compromise, were clear and pleasant enough, although fake looking and totally lacking in detail.

  7. I would totally be weird enough to redo any level that was less than 3 stars over and over and over and over until I got 3 stars in EVERY level. This game has 6 different rooms from Novice to GrandMaster with a total of different levels. You can always go back and redo a level layout if you got less than 3 stars. To some, that's a goal to shoot for. It's such an enjoyable Christmas game.

  10. Wish I would have tried it before buying it. To me, playing on relaxed mode, THAT would drive me so crazy, the game would cease to be either relaxing or enjoyable. It has bright and colorful graphics-but not a whole lot of effort went in to the visual quality. You get to pick which layout you want for the tiles and you can choose timed or not.
