I did. The story was decent. I am normally totally unphased by the allegedly scary games but this one made me jump several times.. We finished the main game in about three and a half hours and the bonus chapter in 45 minutes. The graphics were on point with plenty of creepiness. I am all about the spooky,make you jump games and this one is fantastic!!! This game is a must for all the HOG addicts such as myself. This game is by far superior in every way to R. Excellent everything. The graphics and audio was just outstanding a work of art. First of all, The X has a really captivating plot. Haunted Hotel seems to be on a roll lately, as The X is the fourth Haunted Hotel game we get within the period of a year! Some may find this a little simplistic, which it is I suppose, but you can't let up for a second as the Jump Scares never let up either, people who played The Emptiness will know what im talking about.

Nevertheless this is what you have been waiting for I am buying it right now since I cannot wait to continue! This includes a smooth gameplay, cohesive game mechanics, a helpful interactive-map and a custom difficulty setting. I just finished playing for the third time, thus my review title!

  8. Excellent graphics, good music, the mini games are easy which makes the story hang together. The X is one of the stronger Haunted Hotel games, and it is definitely the series' scariest one yet. I was rather let down.
