Halloween Patchworks: Trick or Treat!

Holiday themed fun awaits in Halloween Patchworks: Trick or Treat! With 120 puzzles made of 6 different materials it's just treats, no tricks! From headless horsemen to haunted houses, puzzle fans will find all sorts of spooky fun in this game!

The least you can get from any level is one. Date published: Glad I did! If you liked that one, you'll like this one. Lots of hidden pictures and you don't have to go back and forth to solve a section. By level 34 I was having to use clues. Would be great for kids. I love mosaic puzzles so bought this without trying it first. Took me a few hours to go thru, but it was just plain nice for a change! The problem is this. Sounds and music vary and are pleasant, adding to the fun. I enjoyed the Halloween theme. I liked the graphics but had a hard time with a few items either being too small or not looking like what was listed. Nothing scary here if you let your little ones play. Fantastic mosaics!

You can however, replay any mosaic as often as you'd like, but each time you replay the level the pieces to place are different, same puzzle just different pieces. Boy was I wrong. By level 34 I was having to use clues. The mini-games are fairly simple, but enjoyable. You had to pick it up and then hold the mouse button down the entire time you were trying to find it's place in the puzzle. I really like the fairytales and fantasy themed puzzles. I love mosaic puzzles so bought this without trying it first. The storyline was interesting too. The Halloween themed pictures are beautiful, pumpkins, witches, cats, bats and even Frankenstein himself makes an appearance, enjoy! To earn 3 Keys, you must complete the mosaic, complete the mosaic with no mistakes and complete the mosaic within a specific time allotment in timed mode Finishing the mosaic within the allotted time frame is a lot harder than you'd think, you really have to keep a steady pace, AND worry about placing a piece incorrectly. Other than that it was a deightful little HO game and good for most any age group! I really enjoyed it.

It's great for those who want to play over and over. I own all the patchworks games but this one is not frustrating when moving the piece to the puzzle. The HO games are fairly short -- about a dozen objects -- but they can be surprisingly challenging. Everything just plays very smoothly in this one. I could only have very loud effects or none at all because as soon as I decreased the Charma: The Land of Enchantment, I could no longer hear them at all. When games in all genres now seem to default to macabre, dark, dystopian patterns, this lighthearted approach to Halloween fun is just right. Why not make them more difficult instead? Date Patchwodks: The sound effects are very creative but there is something off with the volume gauge. Nonetheless, the story was cute, VERY kid friendly. Lots of hidden pictures and you don't have to go back and forth to solve a section. Since I have all that I was able to find, I keep playing them over and over and Truck RA doesn't hurt a bit : Children will enjoy these games too. This game had Battle Slots of variety, especially in the mini-games. Finding itsy bitsy objects is only a Zumas Revenge of vision and extremely tiring.

For the life of me, I don't follow that logic. I prefer spooky themes on the G for gentle side and this game appeals in that way. The storyline was interesting too. The game was appropriate in length. It stays with your cursor instead of dropping "accidently", until you are ready to place it. I worked this game on my computer and my complaint was in the inability to pick up a puzzle piece with one click to move it over to the puzzle board for placement. The problem is this. The HO games are fairly short -- about a dozen objects -- but they can be surprisingly challenging. One huge, huge complaint, though The requirement to keep the mouse button depressed for the whole time I'm moving the pieces around coupled with the need to move the pieces quickly, makes this game a no go for me. Nothing big, great or earth-shaking; just nice, which was really enjoyable for a change. I love the relaxed mode and all the progress info at the end of each level.

I wouldn't recommend it for a purchase. That is not good. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by kateblue from Even better than some other Halloween Patchworks: Trick or Treat! games because the timer is reasonable I just belatedly found this game by searching for other games like Patchworks. What makes this game great, as with it's Eden Mosaics Galore is the replay ability. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I think it would be a good game for a child to play. I worked this game on my computer and my complaint was in the inability to pick up a puzzle piece with one Halloaeen to move it over to the puzzle board Around the World placement. I really like the fairytales and fantasy themed puzzles. If you enjoyed board puzzles as a kid, you'll have fun with these, and they are not so easy to solve. It is just fun to play. I love the pictures and the materials used for the patches. The artwork was just beautiful, and the pieces were so original, with subtle highlights and shadows. You had to pick it up and then hold Asamis Sushi Shop mouse button down the entire time you were trying to find it's place in the puzzle. LOL--the objects were hard Hqlloween find in some places, and I had to use the hint button a few times. Good story line for the kids.

I liked the graphics but had a hard time with a few items either being too small or not looking like what was listed. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by kateblue from Even better than some other Patchwork games because the timer is reasonable I just belatedly found this game by searching for other games like Patchworks. Besides the hidden objects, there are other items to find: candy canes, hidden spaces, "trick or treats". Date published: Don't like games that keep going back to the same ones over and over. Each of the groups of puzzles is designed in different textiles such as fabric, wood, glass, stone, paper, so the nearly 3D textures add depth and richness. A great array of textures, from silks and fabrics to stained and frosted glass, woods to marble textures. Other than that a fun treat to pass some free time while you are waiting on trick or treaters. Happy Halloween everyone! Ho Hum. I enjoyed the Halloween theme. The scenes were well drawn and objects were not hidden in an annoying way.

  1. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by bluesycat from Too challenging for old hands This is another beautiful jigsaw puzzle game, perhaps the prettiest of them all. Only 2 things I didn't care for were the animation--the girl really looked like a boy--and the drop down thing at the top whenever you found a candy cane. The game isn't very story intensive or very long. This game had lots of variety, especially in the mini-games. For me some of the puzzles were a little hard, but I don't mind using the hint button.

  2. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Perfect mix of hidden object, versus mini games. I liked it and I'm going to play it again.

  3. So I guess that means this game lasts longer for me because I can't play it all at once. They have made the mosaic pictures out of 6 different materials such as wood, cloth or paper which gives each picture a unique look. If you let go of the mouse button the piece 'fell' and it counted as a 'mistake'.

  4. Date published: The scenes were well drawn and objects were not hidden in an annoying way. Finding itsy bitsy objects is only a test of vision and extremely tiring. Sometimes it was a challenge to "beat the drop down" in order to click on them. Nothing scary here if you let your little ones play.

  5. It's got some neat little quirks to it that you don't find in too many HO games which made it a lot more fun than I thought it might be. Love it! The coins you earn can be used to add 30 seconds to the timer, buy extra points, and you can pay to unlock categories that you may not have earned enough keys to unlock. The HO games are just the right combination of difficult to find objects and easier ones so it was a lot of fun for me and my little boy to play together. This game had lots of variety, especially in the mini-games.

  6. Took me a few hours to go thru, but it was just plain nice for a change! Since I have all that I was able to find, I keep playing them over and over and my RA doesn't hurt a bit : Children will enjoy these games too. I think it would be a good game for a child to play. This game is nerve wracking, but totally worth it.

  7. I would recommend this game for all ages. The only problem is that dragging and hovering with the mouse makes my old elbow hurt. The HO games are fairly short -- about a dozen objects -- but they can be surprisingly challenging.

  8. I worked this game on my computer and my complaint was in the inability to pick up a puzzle piece with one click to move it over to the puzzle board for placement. Lots of hidden pictures and you don't have to go back and forth to solve a section. Hints fill quickly so you don't remain stumped for long, as some hidden objects are hidden inside something else, or may be really tricky to spot. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by verimeri from tiny pieces Many of the mosaics have very tiny pieces. For younger folks, or people without hand and finger issues, this would be great.

  9. At first I was upset that you had to try and solve the puzzle without having a picture to look at for reference, but even that part turned out to be fun as you slowly watched the picture take shape and reveal itself to you as you worked the puzzle. What makes this game great, as with it's sister Mosaics Galore is the replay ability. Easy to play, nice distraction, not too "school-like".

  10. These games are really fun for me. The gameplay consists of Hidden Object followed by a simple puzzle. The only problem is that dragging and hovering with the mouse makes my old elbow hurt. Nonetheless, the story was cute, VERY kid friendly. A unique sound lets you know that you made a boo-boo lol!
