As you correctly select those cells forming part of the concealed picture, you will be rewarded with money and can earn hints that can identify one of the remaining required cells. I found the background music was rather distracting and I quickly turned down this volume level to zero. It is a pity there really isn't a story line but we can't have everything. I came across this game on the GameHouse web site. You can purchase additional hints for a particular level, pay extra to start each level with two hints and increase the number of mistakes you are allowed to make when completing a level. I will say however that when I exited this game, it said that my progress wouldn't be saved! If you enjoy the Mosaics and Arizona Rose you will enjoy this game. In this game you earn coins to buy extra hints, mistake forgiveness, etc. Each grid starts with one available hint. You will also be awarded up to three stars depending upon your performance. It is addictive and challenging. I used a lot of hints, including ones I purchased.

It can be picked up quite easily and is often hard to put down as you seek to complete just one more level. There are no time limits on the grids, which is a big plus in my book. It is addictive and challenging. Each grid starts with one available hint. While the first four rooms can be accessed in this way, you will be charged an entry fee to enter the last two rooms which again are made up of 20 levels. There are no time limits on the grids, which is a big plus in my book. I don't think the pictures are the greatest but I like that it gets a bit harder as you level up. Hints are added randomly as play continues. The music is fine and I always keep it on low as a type of soft background sound. Olympus Griddlers does not attempt to dazzle you with impressive graphics. Six members of the Olympus deity, namely Ares, Dionysus, Athena, Aphrodite, Hermes and Zeus, are in charge of the individual rooms that you need to work through. Often I would finish a grid, thinking I had made no mistakes, only to see that I had lost a star and had to replay it to keep the 3 stars, I know an "X" appears to the left of the grid to indicate a mistake, but when I am concentrating on the grid, I don't see the "X's" until I'm through. You can also opt to play the game in full screen mode with a game cursor. There must be at least one blank cell between each group of cells that form the picture. There really is no storyline. Sometimes that's fun but sometimes if it's not a great story it ends up being annoying. Wow, pretty good improved UI here, and good story line added. I don't think the pictures are the greatest but I like that it gets a bit harder as you level up. But don't let the size of the grid fool you; they are not easy.

The game is stingy by only allowing one true mistake before having to restart a puzzle, but this is easily remedied by using earned coins to purchase "mistakes". I bought the game after playing the whole demo and I don't regret it.
