It's not going to be anyone's all time favorite, but it's a nice break from some of those where you absolutely need a walkthrough. I played the regular version and it ran about 3. It lacked the excitement and interesting feel that other games have of this genre that I have played. Problem is, the items are so difficult to find I got a headache. Although there were no voice-overs, there are ghostly sounds in the music room for sure and may have been in other rooms as someone else mentioned. Furthermore, navigation from one area to the next is often unituitive. Go from room to room and back again - without benefit of a transportable map so this becomes tedious very quickly - finding clues and talismans 7. The music was nice but the "ghostly" noises were totally unnecessary. Looks like a handpainted sketch. A nice fun game.

Also if you really stuck and not sure where to go the hint button will give you an idea where to go next. Could be just what you're looking for. Lack of instruction on some puzzles. It's not going to be anyone's all time favorite, but it's a nice break from some of those where you absolutely need a walkthrough. For those who really didn't like this game, I suspect they are seasoned HOG fans and enjoy the more involved games. I did use the hints on occasion and found them for the most part helpful. If I was searching somewhere and could not pick something up, logically to me it is not an "item" that should be searchable. Then I realized that the game had a glitch in it that still needed to be repaired.

A nice fun game. For these and several other reasons, this will not be a buy for me but I do encourage everyone to give this game a try. Looks like a handpainted Lara Gates: The Lost Talisman. The graphics and sound are good. I had to use the hint button. Graphics and text are blurry. I really wanted to like this game but the story line was weak, lacked continuity and form. The HOS are mixed up with fun puzzles, not too hard, nor too easy. The puzzles I encountered were Lraa to easy I think just right for this game. I don't recommend this game if you are familiar with this Ths of gaming genre since it would be way too easy to play and Gstes: amount of errors in the game takes away from it being fun. You are on the grounds of a college and you go from room to room looking for objects that you need. I like games with that feature. I was rather disappointed at some of the grammatical errors that I noticed in the game. I don't recommend this game if you are familiar with this kind of gaming genre since it would be way too easy to play and the amount of errors in the game takes away from it being fun.

The game certainly wasn't horrible, just OK. No voice acting. There really isn't much to do except find things and then use them somehow. There is also a hint button that will give you a tip if needed. If you don't know what to do Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist, just look for an unlocked door, or click on the hint button and it will tell you.


I did use the hints on occasion and found them for the most part helpful. She knows that the talismans have been scattered somewhere around the University, but where? Since it was so easy to play it was rather short to play too. You have to locate 8 talismans and bring them together. Sound was muted so I couldn't tell you much. I had to use the hint button. Try the demo any way you might be surprised I was. I found the perspectives to be an interesting change and although the hidden object scenes were junk pile, I consider them "nice" junk because the sizes and locations were mostly correct and believable. The graphics and sound are good. It lacked the excitement and interesting feel that other games have of this genre that I have played. The puzzles I encountered were not to easy I think just right for this game. It's a straight forward HOG with a few puzzles thrown in. No voiceovers - all reading - which also can become quite tedious. The people look like people.

  1. It should be a requirement. Professor is missing but he called Lara to discuss an important artifact. I got a bit confused as to why I suddenly got 2 more of the same talisman that I just put away in the tower. Every room you enter, there is an HOG to play. The game did freeze up on me a couple of times.
