I'm sorry. BUY IT! The final puzzle is a card game which you play with an opponent and I believe the outcome, win or lose, changes the game ending, though I will have to play again to confirm that perception. This is a fun and challenging game. The ending was such a disappointment! Not sure why I had an extra key when the game was over but apparently didn't need it. It made me so angry that I had wasted time on the game. You may not even notice that as you progress, there will be save points, which are automatic, and if you make the wrong decision, you will start back at the last saved position before the incident, how cool is that!! There are also Conversation Choices at times to make, and the feature I loved the best, was that my decisions actually matter. I tried I really did but it doesn't get any better!! The mini games were harder than usual and the hops were really good. Her way lies through a small town from where she got to the asylum.

  1. A brilliant storyline, thought provoking. Nothing was really explained, the story was really weak because of it. I recommend this homage to old school HOPA.

  2. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Sami from old school adventure player? Most of the time I ended up skipping the game because I did not either understand the instructions or the game had no instructions as in the medicine making game--you have a piece of paper with a lot of colors-shapes of 3 jars and the only information you have is to mix the ingredients according to the clue. They are decent enough, and the graphics are clear enough, nothing special, but nothing horrible either. The ending was such a disappointment! I like the fact that it had some Christian components, but the game is so bad that it is wasted.

  3. I recommend this homage to old school HOPA. The hidden object bits were a variety of the same old find and re-use to find something else type and I have to be honest I skipped most of the mini games because I just didn't have the patience to sit and do them - I wanted to keep playing! Wish i had never played this HO. Very unsatisfying ending.

  5. You are at times given choices to make in the game which will alter certain aspects of gameplay. Date published: I was really getting into the storyline, and it has some really good features, such as collectible Wooden Crosses to give you extra Hints you can also combine 3 elements in a row, I'm assuming in a mini game, to add hints if you run out, but you start out with several hints and I never ran out to find out specifics of this feature The crosses aren't easy to find either, I'm not sure if they aren't available in every scene or I just didn't always spot them!

  6. Uses for found objects is logical so far , decisions you make as a player affects what happens next as another reviewer has already noted. Im only an hour in and im totally hooked! Excellent puzzles and challenges.

  7. It made me so angry that I had wasted time on the game. You may not even notice that as you progress, there will be save points, which are automatic, and if you make the wrong decision, you will start back at the last saved position before the incident, how cool is that!! This game probably isn't going to win any awards, and it's certainly not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I really like the mysterious plot. Lots of puzzles and a very eerie, creepy feeling.
