Nightmares from the Deep: The Siren's Call is the sequel of the smash hit Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart. It is an epic adventure story with an exciting plot, outstanding puzzles, and unforeseeable depths of twists and turns. When Sarah Black, the curator of the Caribbean Naval Museum, receives a package from a mysterious messenger, she is unwittingly drawn into an ancient conflict. Moments after she opens the package to reveal an artifact, assailants descend on the museum and rob her of it. She can hardly believe that this is the beginning of a new nightmare from the deep! After blacking out in the museum, Sarah finds herself on the shores of Kingsmouth, a forgotten fishing town with an incredible secret. The would-be messenger reveals the sad truth: he and the rest of the town's denizens are suffering from a curse that is gradually turning them into aquatic creatures. A curse that was cast by two powerful beings: the mayor, Murray, and the sea-devil: Davy Jones.

Similar to the first game, the animations and interactions are very impressive. Take the drawer handle C ; place it on the drawer and open it C1. To solve the puzzle, align the hands so they match the note. In this game, they are active, visually striking and rival some enjoyable, although older video games. Walk upstairs to the kitchen; open the pantry door and examine it to activate a HOP R. Examine the bed to activate a HOP. Examine the statue and select the chain P ; move the statue twice Q. Enter the Catacombs; examine the boat to activate a HOP. Take the tongs G ; use the tongs to get the cross G1. Pull the right lever L. Place the handle on the letterpress; select the handle and take the knife Q. Please see the screenshot for the correct order J. Phase 1: Arrange the pieces to create a whole image T. Examine the Treasury to activate a HOP.

I gave "Cursed Heart" only four stars, but because this game was much improved, I give it five stars and definitely recommend! Please see the screenshots for the solutions C and C1. Three kinds of collectibles, not easy to spot - I only found half of the morphs. Walk forward to the Embankment. Examine the doorway to activate a HOP. Turn the key and select the handle; enter the Newspaper Office A. Lots to do. Early on you will be given an in-game map. Turn the valve. Although some elements, particularly puzzles may be repackaged, in general this game is unique and the best of the rest of the series is improved upon. I'm a slow player, I like to enjoy the scenes and look for the collectibles and move around the map, but you are definitely getting your money's worth in this game. Use the lockpick on the suitcase green. Walk forward to the Street. Examine the toolbox; look at the note G. Walk down and then walk forward to the Fountain.

In most Sprouts Adventure they are often a screen pan or a zoom in or out of a static image. Examine the compartment to activate a HOP. Talk to the Fisherman J. Lots to do. Talk to the Fisherman; examine the fro case B. Select the Spyde Solitaire E. Return to Prison. There are more puzzles without an over-abundance of HOS. Use the syringe with acid on the lock M ; use the rubber gloves on the ice and take the ice block M1. To solve the puzzle, choose matching pairs until only three symbols remain X. Return to the Catacombs. Walk up Thf the Bridge. Please refer to the guide to see if you have missed any of these steps.

The story is interesting and well written, I cared about the characters and their dilemma, the game play made sense, the mini-games are easy, fun, and varied, and the drawings, voices, animation, and videos were great. Also liked that scenes closed when completed and the developers actually wrapped up the story at the end--thank you for that! Interactive items in HOPs are color-coded.   1. Use the paint box key on the lock to get the printing ink U. Talk to the Fisherman and move the dresser twice R. Talk to the Fisherman X.

  2. Return to the Yard; take the elevator to the Apartment. Breaking an object with an ax or a hammer, etc. I save them for games like this.
