In Mournful Loch you play an archaeology student who has been researching a lost artifact of the Logan family. Otherwise, the SE may be good enough. But until I read more reviews from those who have actually played the game, I'll be on the fence with this one. Could have added some more game time. There is one tricky puzzle that I have never seen before and it is truly genius. Adventure is good, with only a couple times I was unsure where to go next. The graphics were just right for the style of the game, the switching from HOG to Match 3 was a great idea, the creepiness of the game was perfect. He who dares to enter, will surely perish, after all, several have tried and failed to return! I decided to try once more, and what a good job I did!! Date published: If you like Phantasmat or horror games, and like Eipix bling, it may be worth it to you. It was awesome.

You're in too deep now however, and someone or something, doesn't want you Editio find the artifact, in fact, it seems they don't want you to live at all, or are you already dead? The IGT Slots Three Kings were fairly complex which I really enjoyed and the one with all morphing objects was not too challenging but a lot of fun. Are the sequels as great as the original, in this Series? The visuals and sound are lovely. Can't imagine it failing to be a winner like the previous editions. Was lots Sea of Lies: Nemesis Collectors Edition fun! And that's before they actually Fish Tycoon 2: Virtual Aquarium it. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Press arrows to move the tiles and arrange them Phantasmat: Mournful Loch Collectors Edition they match the clue shown. Since I love HO scenes, I never tried out that option. Like some of the other reviewers have said, if you don't try to connect this game with the earlier Phantasmat games, I think you will enjoy it also. There are three difficulty settings, and no custom difficulty. Will continue to do so. Very spooky atmosphere. I enjoyed the rooms shifting between past and future, and the effects of the water in the distance. The entire Logan family was brutally murdered and their family artifact Phantwsmat: stolen, an artifact so valuable, they were willing to sacrifice their lives.

Plot resolution is a little ambiguous - we've identified the villain but we're not sure what we actually accomplished along the way. The appearance of the three other characters was good, too. This type of story is so mysterious and eerie, and going to a watery grave adds a certain sadness. Less is more and often times, more than not, lengthy reviews will give away game details that should be enjoyed by the player! Since I love HO scenes, I never tried out that option. As always try the demo I retract nearly everything I said in my CE review after completing both main and bonus games. A little bit spooky and a lot of fun. I purchased this game a couple of years ago and could not remember much about it, having played many by now. The HO sequences and mini-puzzles are the usual mixed bag but, again, Eipix puts a nice spin on most of them. I basically saw only the hands of the student. It's charming in its simplicity. Quite a lot of back-and-forth but the map is very useful.

I thought it was fun. KUDOS to the developers!! A little bit spooky and a lot of fun. HOs are varied, and include morphs and lists. I heard TONS of things I missed without earbuds, and the environmental sounds and music really added to immersion. I only hope the entire game isn't like this.

Also, in this Phantasmat, I found there was nothing I had to skip to avoid feeling uncomfortable and the general feel of the game was a supernatural-fantasy game rather than horror. I think they made it a bit predictable about what may happen or what led to the massacre. Very spooky atmosphere. The puzzles aren't very challenging but I love the atmosphere of this game, the story, and the music. Mournful Loch isn't as good as as the last couple of games in the series, but this is a solid game from beginning to end. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by MsPeanut from interesting, unusual story was a little too graphic and disturbing for me. Lots of rocks and lichen in general. I've yet to find a sequel to stand up to the original. I basically saw only the hands of the student. You are able to roam freely to all scenes throughout the game. There is no map to transport, you revisit the same scenes over and over with HOS being repeated over and over Final Assessment: I enjoyed this game quite a bit and I recommend it.

If someone has Wandering around an abandoned, crumbling castle waiting for truly creepy ghosts to appear reminded me a bit of the movie 13 Ghosts. Your tools include an interactive map. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by childofgod4 from Best game I've played in a long time. Of course, we've seen the story line so many times. I am so glad I replayed it. But I imagine that was the exact intention of the artists and creators of this particular story. I found it a ton of fun and quite tricky. Is it worth a CE? I think they made it a bit predictable about what may happen or what led to the massacre. Traditional HO fans won't be disappointed. Otherwise, the SE may be good enough. The appearance of the three other characters was good, too.

  1. You can go back and find any you missed in Extras. This is what I look for in a HOG. It was awesome. Mood matters. No one knows what became of the artifact, but if your suspicions are correct, it may be in the loch that surrounds the castle grounds.

  2. You are able to roam freely to all scenes throughout the game. Not long after that your boat capsizes and you awaken on the shore of the loch. Very nice graphics if a bit dark.

  3. Less is more and often times, more than not, lengthy reviews will give away game details that should be enjoyed by the player! I feel the developers did a great job on this game. I love the Phantasmat games and this one was no exception.

  4. In Mournful Loch you play an archaeology student who has been researching a lost artifact of the Logan family. Just an all around awesome game. You are stranded on an island and you have to figure out the usual hidden clues to stop an ancient curse. I had a lot of fun playing this game!

  5. Especially for long in the tooth players Nice and dark atmosphere, mysterious characters. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by darienamber from Played this game twice so far! I really enjoyed playing it. Can't imagine it failing to be a winner like the previous editions.

  6. Otherwise, the SE may be good enough. The opening teaser sequence is a little gory, but so much as to be over the top. That's not sufficient for a bonus chapter; it should be at least an hour.

  7. The visuals and sound are lovely. It mostly consisted of HO scenes, which I enjoy. CE or no? Just ignore that and consider it on its own. Lots of rocks and lichen in general.

  8. It is a great storyline for sure and one I would normally enjoy a great deal because of the subject matter. Very spooky atmosphere. It may or may not be your favorite in the series but you will still love the game play. Hints: 10 to seconds, Skips: 10 to seconds.

  9. I'm really enjoying this game. It may or may not be your favorite in the series but you will still love the game play. In this game, you get to solve 3 different ghost stories, so it's definitely more bang for your buck!

  10. I wanted the actual story to get going so I could be entertained instead of bored! Overall, a very solid game with plenty of play and some fun puzzles. You are stranded on an island and you have to figure out the usual hidden clues to stop an ancient curse. For a researcher you are probably super focused on your project, but perhaps you should have noticed that something is a bit off with your boatman.

  11. Although the game has some excellent moments, I am not sure it is for me but I know that many will find this latest Phantasmat to be a cut above the others. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by kraymin from What's not to like, I'll tell you This is another hit in the Phantasmat series. The Mini Games range from simple to complex, many of which are new or different versions. God Bless
