From Remembrancr demo: The introduction of the story was captivating. I'm giving Feeding Frenzy 5 stars just because the developers didn't give us the same ol', Legend of Aladdin ol'. In this game, the environmental sounds were on the same options slider as the actual "game effect sounds". The background music and the sound effects Haunted Manor: Remembrance also exceptional in this game, they are cued at Sparkle Unleashed right time, are real haunting, and are never distracting. Needless to say, I found many of the scenes rather disturbing and that is not what I want in a game. Today, Joanne and her best friend Danielle have returned to the charred remains of her childhood home, the home that singed her innocent childhood memories. Collectibles are well blended and morphs are not obvious. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, but once I figured it out, I was impressed. I am slowly growing to appreciate the work of this game company. Certainly not a horror game, but a very interesting psychological thriller. The little girl was adorable and endearing. Very original, beautiful graphics, fun storyline. It was definitely creepy, but not in the usual sense of creepiness with skeletons, witches, bats, and so on Rather, this was a psychological creepiness that I found quite intriguing I hope to see more games like this one from EIPIX! The art style blended well with all the objects and I found that the level of challenge was well balanced. I will wait to buy the SE because the CE content wasn't enough for me. This is no point and and click, hold your hand game. I had to double check that Eipix actually made this one, it is so different from their usual. As the story progressed through the demo, there were some legit jump scares and a few questionable moments that had me wondering and wanting to know more. Bonus Chapter: Collector's Edition only Sonya, Joanne's momma, discovered a file while researching the house and believes it may pertain to Danielle. That is a con for someone just getting back into the swing of things. The storyline was interesting, if not more than mildly disturbing in some parts which is a plus in my book. Harrowed Halls 1: Lakeview Lane a psych. Great puzzles, and fun HOGs.

I would have bought the CE if it had had a screensaver. It is so helpful to learn the characters better and who it is I'm Medieval Mystery Match as. Totally amazing! After a rough run in on an old favorite game series, I'm only testing the waters of their games with demos. What I played of the game portrayed a Remembraance of descent into madness and having a family member who struggles with mental illness, the subject matter was simply too much Haunted Manor: Remembrance me to handle. As the story progressed through the demo, there were some legit jump scares and a few questionable moments that had me wondering and wanting to know more. Maybe a little blurb of directions would have solved that.

Yes, the month of Halloween is here and I do expect some good creepy games but, IMHO, this one should have come with a warning about its psychological content. I thought that the concept of the haunted house stemming from loneliness was a nice touch. I would have bought the CE if it had had a screensaver. I had to double check that Eipix actually made this one, it is so different from their usual. This Halloween why not step into the sinister world of Haunted Manor: Remembrance for some psychologically thrilling fun? Today she asked you to accompany her to the site of this tragedy to unlock the mystery behind the incident. I loved the trippy level design, and it was nice not to see the same old puzzles that I see in so many other games of this genre. Developer deserves support for taking on this difficult subject. Stick it out and play. It's not as bad as some others are saying, totally get where they're coming from and I do agree, it could possibly have come with some sort of warning.. Some of the puzzles were just intuitive, and easy to grasp, while others took more time because I couldn't figure out the mechanics and the reasoning behind it. The background music and the sound effects are also exceptional in this game, they are cued at the right time, are real haunting, and are never distracting. I highly recommend this game! BFG has so many great Halloween themed games and I think I will go back and play one of those rather than try to struggle through a game that I find distasteful.   1. Great psychological thriller. This is no point and and click, hold your hand game. Afterall, isn't that what games are for, to explore boundaries with the comfort of knowing "it's just a game". I really enjoyed it, defo recommend..   2. Outside of the puzzles, the hidden object scenes were great. Date published: I particularly liked the storyline and the psychological aspects of the game.

  3. I haven't seen a decent storyline journal like this since the starting days of HOPA's. I'm giving it 5 stars just because the developers didn't give us the same ol', same ol'. Most of the scenes are basic Interactive Listed Item Finds that are located in uninteresting locations. Saying anything more would be a major spoiler, so I will leave it at that.

  5. Well done. I absolutely loved the first three games in the series that were from its original developer. There didn't seem to be any logic or reason as to why certain things were puzzles and other things weren't. Bonus Chapter: Collector's Edition only Sonya, Joanne's momma, discovered a file while researching the house and believes it may pertain to Danielle. The hidden object scenes and the puzzles are neither particularly innovative nor challenging.

  8. That is a con for someone just getting back into the swing of things. I do agree that there ought to be a warning for this game--it may be too intense for some players. Most of the puzzles are easily solved on the first attempt and to me, seemed as if they were leftover puzzles that didn't make the cut because very little thought or creativity was bestowed upon them.
