The Spencers picked up an abandoned country estate for cheap, hoping to flip it and turn a profit, but when they come to check out the property, they discover it has dark secrets hidden inside its walls. A creature begins to terrorize them, rifling through their things, smashing furniture and causing a ruckus, but soon their annoyance turns into terror. The hops were nicely different which is refreshing and the puzzles too. Games were just right, not simplistic but not brain wracking either, just tough enough to enjoy without Dracula Origin. I haven't enjoyed a game like this, this much, since some of the earliest Dteadful Case Files games,like Return to Ravenhearst. And yes, some things did make me jump. That would have been a good type of ending for this one after all the spooky drama. If you ever happen to see it, use the sub titles, those Kiwi have strong accents. I like that you have to take the time to realy look at and enjoy the graphics. It was a little scarey, dark things jumping out from dark rooms, which i liked so not advisable for very young children. That would have been a good type of ending Megaplex Madness: Now Playing this one after all the spooky drama. I like that you have to take the time to realy look at and enjoy the graphics. While the outline of the storyline is not the most original, the delivery is incredibly engaging. A far cry from some of the games of late, this has it all. Love the sense of being afraid to backtrack in case the creature is waiting there to pounce on me. I look forward to seeing a series made from this. I loved the two-viewpoints gameplay, this game is my newest favorite. Can't wait for the sequel. However, this game just amps up the creepy factor and is one you will happily go back to if you are a fan of a slightly more adult feeling game. If you like to play horror games and aren't squeamish this is a good choice for you. The game play for the most part was a bit easy but the story line helped in that regard. Games were just right, not simplistic but not brain wracking either, just tough enough to enjoy without frustration. Scary edge of the seat stuff with heaps of brain teaser puzzles makes for a fantastic few hours of great fun. But the property was priced low for a reason, and a sinister one at that. Two paranormal investigators look into an old house looking for ghosts. Although the visuals can be seen as a little rough at times, they might be intentionally done in that fashion in order to evoke the horror feel. The great thing about it too, if you miss any morphing items or collectibles you are given a chance to go back at the end of the game and find them all!

There was a funny horror film I watch a few years back, it was called "House Bound" a kiwi flick about strange things happening in this oddball family's home. Two paranormal investigators look into an old house looking for ghosts.
