The others include the usual moving tile puzzles, gear puzzles, cryptic clue puzzles, logic puzzles, and matching puzzles, to name a few. Rating: 2 I. Where previous versions have gotten a bit over the top, these are solid but completely doable puzzles. HOs were nicely varied with new twists, but traditional HO fans will be pleased too. This game will be tough for beginners, but doable, because this is not a hand holding type of game, and I love it. The combination of excellent production values, bling, adventure challenge, tons of puzzles included in bonus game , and atmosphere make this worth it. The story is very interesting, the graphics are great, and the game should be fun on whatever difficulty level you play it mine was and always is "Insane" - hehehe. The music is appropriate.

Similarly, the hidden object scenes are extremely advanced — not the level of challenge you would expect from typical HOPA games. The game has some well-defined character analysis in this story. Rather cool. Matching puzzle. Greetings Master Detective, and with those words you are off on another task for the queen and an excellent new MCF game begins. This just might be another one of MCF's famous series ranking right up there with Madame Fate and the famous Ravenhearst games. The HOP's are well done and entertaining, but nothing compared to the puzzles, especially the Super Puzzles. In my case, I had already gotten all of them during the game, and opening that section in the Extras just confirmed it. Since each puzzle usually took us quite a while to figure out, we completed the game on the easiest mode in around five and a half hours. Rating: 2 B. Where previous versions have gotten a bit over the top, these are solid but completely doable puzzles. Awesome SuperPuzzles! The bonus chapter is just as astounding as the main game and took us 80 minutes to complete. As always, please try the demo to see if The Broken Hour will be a game you will enjoy.

Each scene has a Morphing Object to find, some are very well hidden and the cursor doesn't change to scream :here I am" I absolutely love that I have to actually use my brain to solve this case! Your investigator is called into a case to discover what happened to a colleague, but of course there's much more to his disappearance than that. Move Mystery Case Files: Broken Hour Collectors Edition into position matching a diagram hidden in the blueprint. I feel they only distract you from the story, which is supposed to be the heart of the game, after all. The others include the usual moving tile puzzles, gear puzzles, cryptic clue puzzles, logic puzzles, and matching puzzles, to name a few. Rating: 2 8. Replay your favorite HOPs and mini-games.

It was an automatic purchase for me and well worth the price. The technical aspects are exactly what we normally expect from this developer with great graphics, wonderfully created characters, great voiceovers and much more. 1. I love the characters and think they are so true to life that I actually feel involved with them during the game. Usually, I really don't like it when there are any Achievements. Move cogs to set time on a clock. Replacement into scene.

  2. Rube Goldberg puzzle: Refer to a blueprint to solve these puzzles. The story was okay with a loophole or two, and too much dialogue for my taste. Something that holds my attention, those accents are fantastic and so believable.

  3. Thanks for this delightful game! One of my favorite puzzles from the demo is the battleship puzzle, based on the battleship game, with ghosts replacing the ships. Following a coded piece of paper with cryptic clues, open a lock. For me there was so much to love.

  4. After the demo, things seem easier once you get into the swing of things. The story is an homage to Frankenstein with some interesting developments and plays with the concept of time, often literally. What a treat - challenge upped for once, great dose of humour, story unfolding in a brilliant pace, quirky characters, reminiscences of former MCF games, great puzzles, fantastic, innovative HO's, super soundtrack - couldn't wish for more! For one thing, even before starting the main game, you can check out the Achievements box and find a complete list of Achievements and what is necessary to achieve each of them.
