This may not be my favorite edition of the Dark Canvas trilogy but it ranks! The graphics were great! It took several days till completion, without a dull moment. You will also use your camera to take hidden photos that can be snapped when you notice a certain symbol. I actually enjoyed the logic of this game. Just a good old fashioned "who done it". In custom mode you can set your hints and skips to recharge in a range of 15 to It kept me on my toes throughout the game. The smiling characters no matter what the dialogue is a little odd, but not a deal breaker. The bonus game is short but interesting. It's a great break from the games developers are putting out now.

Some were easy and some you did have Fishjong 2 think about for the solution. I loved the puzzles! I love the cinematics, but I also Battle Slots the puzzles which seem to be scarce lately. The puzzles were not hard but a bit original too. I've always been a fan of the Dark Canvas series, but I do want to voice my opinion about the games of late that seem to have more makings of a great movie, and less game play. You will definitely have fun playing this game! You have a camera that will be used to take photos that will show important information that you will use at some later point in the game. If you like to read "cozy" mysteries think Agatha Christie then this is the game for you. The Mini Games seemed a little on the simplistic side, I was able to finish all of them on the first attempt withing a few seconds, but I've Dark Canvas: A Murder Exposed a lot of games and I've gotten familiar with most of them. It has a very good storyline, interesting characters, clean and pleasant graphics, and awesome background musics! The plot line is really good. The Map was really helpful moving quickly from one side of the house to another. I liked how simple it was to follow the recipe and make soup. Some were to find pairs of related items, match items that are again related, a silhouette type and to search a room through a keyhole to find items that are highlighted in a sentence. These little things can make a big difference. The next puzzle was a math type where we use equations to figure out a combination. The background sound was great in creating an atmosphere of a good murder mystery! I liked how simple it was to follow the recipe and make soup. The graphics are excellent and crisp being nice and colorful rather than the dark and grimy ones that we normally find in a ghostly game. Great atmosphere in the rooms. I loved the puzzles! And not everything is handed to you! It took several days till completion, without a dull moment. It's kinda dark and a bit disturbing, but all around a fun game. With a bit of a ghostly side line, but not enough to make it repetitive.

Date published: Exposes 5 out of 5 by BlackwellFan25 from Really enjoyed Zumas Revenge this game! Used the hint a few times, but Dak teleport map is just as useful. There are voiceovers that are quite good but sadly the game lacks the lip-sync component. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by SparkleGlow from Had a great time playing this game! So, even without a guide, this hidden object game is very interesting. This game held my interest all the way through. Reviewer's have already touched on music "which I thought was okay" and the camera with which you photograph clue's for later use in the 'extras' Battle Slots of the game.

I've always been a fan of the Dark Canvas series, but I do want to voice my opinion about the games of late that seem to have more makings of a great movie, and less game play. There is a lot to do from the start, a transportable map a must for me! You do eventually find out what happens, or at least I think you do, as in the bonus game, there is a spooky twist!!! The HOPS in the game are quite different than normal and at least early in the game none were the standard list type. There are many rooms to explore but you cannot gain access until the time is right. This is truly one of the very very good ones!! I found this feature to be really intriguing, especially once I started taking the pics that began to piece together a storyline I needed to know more about. They were not all the same old same old puzzles you see in many games coming out lately. Just enough to hint at more hidden secrets that you don't know. Reviewer's have already touched on music "which I thought was okay" and the camera with which you photograph clue's for later use in the 'extras' section of the game. It has a very good storyline, interesting characters, clean and pleasant graphics, and awesome background musics! So when an SE comes along that still has lengthy play, storyline that has staying power throughout the game, a healthy mix of HOP's and puzzles; I gotta stop and thank these wonderful developers and encourage fishers who play like me to give this a try! The gameplay was smooth and there was a good balance of HOGs and Puzzles. The puzzles were not hard but a bit original too.

And the bonus chapter was really cool too. I recommend this game. And not everything is handed to you! Gorgeous graphics and artwork. Loved the characters, the mansion house, and the evening pelting down with rain. There are many rooms to explore but you cannot gain access until the time is right. A bit short, but great little time killer. I'm more a player than a writer, but this game was great! Family secrets never stay secret for long, even poor old dad, Jasper thinks his daughter knows the truth, and this truth is as ugly as it get's! Great atmosphere in the rooms. The smiling characters no matter what the dialogue is a little odd, but not a deal breaker. Just a good old fashioned "who done it". The bonus game is short but interesting.

  1. I liked how simple it was to follow the recipe and make soup. Reviewer's have already touched on music "which I thought was okay" and the camera with which you photograph clue's for later use in the 'extras' section of the game. The story begins to draw you in as soon as you find the body in the 'dumb waiter' of the house. This is truly one of the very very good ones!! 2. I was happy to use the map included in this edition because you travel all over that house gathering inventory clues, puzzles, and HOS to discover the killer. The Mini Games seemed a little on the simplistic side, I was able to finish all of them on the first attempt withing a few seconds, but I've played a lot of games and I've gotten familiar with most of them. Many locations to explore.

Used the hint a few times, but the teleport map is just as useful.

  4. The good far outweighed the bad for me. What better way could there be to cool off a hot early fall day than to solve a wonderful, ghostly murder mystery set during a dark and stormy day. There is so much to discover and so many things to find that at first the game seemed a bit more difficult than usual. Many locations to explore.

  5. These little things can make a big difference. The graphics are excellent and crisp being nice and colorful rather than the dark and grimy ones that we normally find in a ghostly game. Just enough to hint at more hidden secrets that you don't know.

  6. It's a great break from the games developers are putting out now. But what I really liked was that the Bonus game was connected in a way that I only understood later and yet knew that even if the Characters of the Bonus game were the characters of the main game- I would enjoy it just as well. The background sound was great in creating an atmosphere of a good murder mystery! I tried to use the hint to solve the dart board puzzle, to no avail.

  7. Family secrets never stay secret for long, even poor old dad, Jasper thinks his daughter knows the truth, and this truth is as ugly as it get's! No fairy tale plot lines. The clue needed to resolve the dart board is likely somewhere, but I do not know where to find it.
