I found it absorbing and not bogged down by tedious chores or a lot of inventory, meaning everything I had to do made sense. All that remains intact is a single component of the incredible planetary network system, Nal'dax, a conscious robot. And yes, Mad Head should change out the spiral collectible. Well done, Mad Head Games. Drag the diver through a maze while avoiding dangers and sea creatures. In closing, my hope is that more developers will offer good Sci-Fi games and get us out of the evil demon rut that seems to have been hanging around at BFG way too long. Colours are soft and muted and the music is orchestral.

I have not play a good game in some time so this was quite refreshing. The graphics were amazing, with bright clear colors, and a varied palette. The storyline was easy to follow and the puzzles were medium. Thank you developers! Good unique puzzles, fun HOPs, new, interesting story -- all in all a wonderful game. A city of technology light-years ahead of all known planets. And everything makes sense. You find the items you need before you forget where they belong. The hidden object games are mainly straightforward, silhouette, finding pairs and finding parts and colours of items. I also like that when you get an inventory item, it tells you what it is right away. Rotate triangle sections to move the ball to the end without colliding with the unmovable triangle. I'm not a fan of gadgets but these aren't annoying at all.

Two thumbs most definitely up! It seems war is inevitable for everyone everywhere, a war that divides, but not always conquers. The storyline was easy to follow and Haunted Hotel: The Axiom Butcher puzzles were medium. You play as Chief Shard who goes to Priora to seek her newfound friends' help when a disease spreads rapidly throughout the Guardians. If you are on the fence because it is sci-fi, no worries.

I thought when we got to town square the people would be milling around looking towards the smoke and wondering what in the world just happened. The styles vary but each HOP stands on its own as being creative and full of details that I love. The story line was good, and the game flowed naturally. There is a Bonus Chapter and a page Strategy Guide. Completed Game approximately 4. Looking forward to the next Moonsouls game, Mad Head. There are 3 or 4 scenes where you have to find and replace items to progress the story but these are not listed as mini-games or HOP's according to the CE Strategy Guide. Games have to have a decent story nowadays because they can't come up with a new way to actually play the game! Even the puzzles are excellent, although there were one or two that I immediately skipped because I disliked the particular type of puzzle. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by difficult1 from Long overdue fabulous HO game It may be a shortish game, but well worth the time and money. The graphics are fabulous and everywhere is so well defined. My only complaint is that the AI in any competitive puzzles such as the colored-stone-link-up game made things far too easy by being almost unreasonably bad, which made one or two of puzzles disappointingly shorter than they could have been. Overall, if you love a si-fi then this is definitely the game for you.

I intend to replay this in hard mode, something else I never do, just to see how challenging it can be. Colours are soft and muted and the music is orchestral. The HOPS are beautiful — something that stands out because so many other games have drab junkpiles to sort through by comparison. I didn't have to turn any sounds down. There are a good variety of mini-games - ranging from easy to medium. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo: 1 Select highlighted color-coded portals to move ball to end. You will see at the bottom left hand side of the screen whether you have found the morph and swirl. If you click on the Spiral Icon bottom left it shows 31 Icons that light up as you find them. They were located in interesting locations and most were very sci-fi or bright and colorful. Nobody else seems to be moving forward, they just keep releasing one game after another, in the same old series that dates back to the beginning of the HOPA craze, and they are dreadful games at that! This took quite a few tries because you have to be precise when you move left or right. And it's Science Fiction! I highly recommend this game! I tend to go in and out of games a lot, so I need something like this to keep track for me.

It took me just over five hours to play through the main game and bonus chapter. So for having an imagination, thank you MHG! Buck Rogers and beyond! As always, I recommend that you try the demo to see if you will enjoy Moonsouls Echoes of the Past as much as I did. The HOPs are varied. Good unique puzzles, fun HOPs, new, interesting story -- all in all a wonderful game. There is a Gadget involved, however, in my opinion, it works, and is something I could envision using in a futuristic world. Under the sea part was my favorite with a crane on the front of the ship.

  1. You never get bogged down in technical how-tos. Two thumbs most definitely up! Happy Gaming!

  2. No yawns in this one! Date published: In this CE version, those famous Mad Head Spirals have made another appearance, and they also offer Morphing Objects, 31 scene morphs, and 16 hop morphs.

  3. Liked the mechanical bird. There are Morphing Objects in every scene as well as within the Hidden Object Scenes, The HO morphs are very challenging but they made the scene morphs way too obvious because the objects they morphed into were objects that looked way out of place in the scenery. You will see at the bottom left hand side of the screen whether you have found the morph and swirl. Get them all and you get an achievement. I didn't get bored.

  4. It just saves me from having to click on it in case there is any doubt. You never get bogged down in technical how-tos. There is a Gadget involved, however, in my opinion, it works, and is something I could envision using in a futuristic world. Yes, it was on the short side, but I still gave it 5 stars because it was so enjoyable.

  5. Alert: Morphing items can appear in the Hidden Object Games as well! I have not play a good game in some time so this was quite refreshing. The quality of this game is amazing from the HOPS to the puzzles. It also shows the ones you may have missed and which location they were in, which I really liked.

  6. This story line moves you through the game without long bits of dialogue. I didn't have to turn any sounds down. I got a little lost with the thread of the plot, but it didn't really matter.

  7. I left the music on, something else I never do, as it was varied, pleasant, and appropriate to the scene. I plan to replay this game because I thoroughly enjoyed the journey and I missed some collectibles and morphing objects! The storyline was fascinating, and I needed to find out how it all ended.

  8. I play to enjoy myself. For once, I found every morphing object and collectible the first time through without hints - not because they were too easy, but because they were well-designed. We have so few sci-fi games offered here at BFG and I think there is a big market for them because many of us who love playing HOPA games are from the Star Trek era and love the Sci-fi genre — just saying. Overall, the extras were nice since I was able to go back and find the objects I missed.

  9. The voice acting was also very good especially for the player-character , which is something that can easily break immersion if done poorly. The ending was well produced and NOT another one of those games with an abrupt ending that left me disappointed or scratching my head. Yes, the bad guys may have been a bit over the top, but aren't most villains think of the Bond movies

  10. The moon is involved, but you visit many diverse locations. In this Collector's Edition version, each HOP scene has a very challenging Morphing Object to find, and you can play the replayable HOP's to pick up Morphs you may have forgotten to look for, as well as some Achievements. The only feature that didn't impress me, was the graphics. Fun, classic puzzles presented in original ways, and good if a bit easy HOPs.

  11. Thank you for designing an enjoyable experience. After you collect all the symbols click on the collection in the extras and it turns into a treasure hunt. BFG was the first company to offer so many wonderful HO games while other companies focused more on puzzles with only an occasional HOPA, which is why I have been a member here since I think you should consider the CE release of the game particularly if you love finding collectibles and morphing objects.

  12. The HOPs are varied. In this CE version, those famous Mad Head Spirals have made another appearance, and they also offer Morphing Objects, 31 scene morphs, and 16 hop morphs. Buck Rogers and beyond! This could have been THE sci-fi game of all time, had they chosen to be a little more creative in the graphics department!
