EleFun Games brings you the next chilling installment of the Fear for Sale series! Paranormal occurrences are spooking the workers and halting construction at a hotel site in Alaska, so you’re sent to investigate. Things quickly turn dark as apparitions try to keep you away and you’re transported into the past! Nothing is as it seems in this old mining town. Good stuff: All the usual game elements including a Puzzle alternative to the usual HOPs, familiar puzzles, lots of beautiful artwork and music. Moreover, the soundtracks are great, they really add some suspense to the game. The colors are vibrant and the details are vivid, the locations ominously portrayed the era and the animations are acceptably smooth. When we travel to the haunted building site, we manage to fall years back in time - and it's suddenly summer When you see a computer, be sure to click all the tabs on the screen to get the most out of this. Gamers will have to decide how each element lands on the balance scale. But with the gold business came competition, corruption and a certain lawlessness. The cursor also changes whenever you scan across an item that morphs, a feature I wish was an option that could be disabled. Give the demo a try to see if you want to investigate with Emma. I have one complaint with this game why oh why does it have to go to loading every change of scene, I think this distracts, prefer it when you flow from one scene to another, please don.

One marvels at the luxury which they brought to the end of the world: oak panels, intricate Louis XV furniture, even electricity. While most Fear For Sale games rely heavily on fantasy elements and extravagant special effects, The Curse of Whitefall is unexpectedly realistic.

  1. I may have skipped one mini-game can't remember for sure so that makes it enough of a challenge to keep me interested. At the cablecar the station master is not encouraging. The SE portion of the game took me 3 hrs.

  2. As always, I suggest you trial the game for yourself. I used the hint a lot during these HOs. Spythere, didn't you just love the music in this one too? Back then, Alaska wasn't even an U. There is a HOP in chapter 4 where you hand items back into the scene to a miner.

  4. The ending was a bit weak, but as I think about how I would have ended it, I couldn't come up with anything any better so I suppose it was fine. The Mini Games are decent, but fairly easy to solve. Puzzles and mini games are quite easy but entertaining. There were, however, holes in the story line and character motivations that I never quite figured out. Personally, I thought this area of bonus play was the best one in the entire game—demo included.
