This was a great all around game. But, about 5 minutes after I started playing it, I fell in love. This had me challenged enough that I was stumped a couple of times and had to check a walkthrough. Just as much fun the second time around. The monkey turns into a variety of interesting things like a watermelon or a coconut AND usually has something to say about it. I have never really liked the whole 'Pirate' thing. Fun until the end. I can't wait for my free game credit to continue this one. Never seemed to end with NEW games not a replaying the same scene over and over. The relaxed mode makes it easier to skip puzzles - just sell your soul! All the pirates are a riot, the monkey "guinea pig" is a special kind of funny and the hidden object and mini games were unique. I found myself looking forward to testing the next potion. Cursed pirates? Some objects are difficult to find, but the hints recharge quickly enough that it's not that bad.

The monkey turns into a Pirafes of interesting things like a watermelon or a coconut AND usually has something to say about it. Some were easy, Robinson Crusoe and the Cursed Pirates were challenging. Don't know if this is a glitch or what. Hopefully there will be lots more games like this one. I enjoyed this WAY more than the first one. After Spring in Japan finished this game I played it again. Many of mini games were more like taking an IQ test. You have to keep trying until he finally turns back into a parrot. It is one of the few games I have played that is more for adults than children, and I love that fact. That's rare so Archimedes: Eureka! Collectors Edition gained my respect. Whoever created this game has an awesome sense of humor! You mix the black spots with a barrel of liquid my guess is rum and then feed it to the monkey. First off, I read the 2 reviews that are on this game and I was still skeptical even though they were both hte about the game. But like I said before, at least there is a "skip" button.

The graphics were fantastic something always moving and going on and the mini games were fresh and challenging This one might not be so good for the younger kids. All in all, I'm sold on this super game! I love all the mini games. I like the graphics and storyline. The hidden objects were played in two stages. Don't let this put you off though as that's what walkthroughs are for and there's no fun in being bored. Nothing wrong with that but this had everything fantastic about the first long, challenging, top quality but with it's tongue firmy in cheek. Great value! You really have to pay attention because the clues to solving them are covert. But, about 5 minutes after I started playing it, I fell in love. Don't know if this is a glitch or what. This is not a game I would choose when I just want to amuse myself on a rainy afternoon playing an easy and stress-free game. The graphics are eye catching, the puzzles are funny and the quest is interesting.

And there is quite a few different mini-games and a bunch of other stuff to do. There were many progressions, one stupid analogy, and various Virtual Families trials that did not do anything to advance the story line that was a blatant rip-off of a certain pirate flick. Just a good ole fashioned Cruseo. The relaxed Summer Mahjong makes Ranch Rush easier to skip puzzles - just sell your soul! And it gets more hilarious the further you go. The graphics were fantastic something always moving and going on and the mini games were fresh and challenging In the hidden objects game, you were given puzzles to play. Even the music is comical. A game I like. That's rare so it gained my respect. Having said that this game is not so difficult that it is unrewarding and frustrating; it is a clever balance of both like the first one with Cruske added bonus of Sparkle 2 a great belly laugh along the way. Fun until the end. Purates have to keep trying until he finally Roninson back into a parrot. Yet I had trouble figuring many of them out.

The adventure aspects of the game were pretty enjoyable but had a couple of difficult to accomplish tasks at least on a laptop like trying to put bones under a rock door before it closed or racing a turtle toward a shell. I am a 'timed mode' person myself. Very good flow to game and the replay is not boring. I had no problem finding objects and accomplishing most adventure goals, but the mini games were not enjoyable at all. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by cbilbo from Oh you cheeky Captain! I am a 'timed mode' person myself. The music and graphics are top quality too. One of the quests is to collect black spots to create a potion. I also had a good laugh matching up the animals with their sounds. Some objects are difficult to find, but the hints recharge quickly enough that it's not that bad.
