Now that his monotonous life has Island Tribe 5, he has to go and explore the manor. Despite these two issues, the latest in Artogon's Shiver series remains a good investment. I think the music contributed to the game in a way I've never experienced. After the first part of the game we never see the antagonist again. I only True Detective Solitaire 2 Shiver: Poltergeist SE so I didn't get to see that extra level which is disappointing but I enjoyed the game. Fast reload time.

It was a dark and moody adventure and the lighting was slightly muted to give that feel. The colors and art is amazing, I totally fall in love with its colors and a big environment. It was wonderful! The hint tells you where to go and what to do next. I couldn't stop playing until I finished. First class production values all round.

There is a journal to accompany you in this game. I achieved something, learned something, added something to the inventory and had Shiver: Poltergeist go back to use it. The VOs were exceptional as were the cut scenes. There are lots of places to go, much to explore, many rooms to find and still no butler showing up to help you. Shiver: Poltergeist Collector's Edition is a recently released hidden object puzzle adventure game with a not so unique story but still with very high production values. It was moving. But little he realized about the real changes which are about to happen as he learns the history behind the manor. Although there was a bit of the back and forth, the moves didn't seem wasted. Those last 30 seconds just frustrate. It was technically superior to every other game I've played. Highly Recommend!! The graphics, dialog, Scenery were great!! If you do buy the CE, the bonus is some more fun, is as good as the main game and the true culprit is revealed there at the end, if you want to know for certain.

  3. Highly Recommend!! I had a hard time getting started, not sure if it was me or if it was the game. The graphics, dialog, Scenery were great!! The ending is designed to hook you for the CE.

  4. In any case, once I got going it became very interesting and enjoyable. The mini-games that you run into as you proceed are very familiar if you have been inthis genre for a while now. There were plenty of HOGs and they were well executed, and meaningful in terms of what was added to the inventory.

  6. This is a must have for your collection! I achieved something, learned something, added something to the inventory and had to go back to use it. The first Shiver game, Vanishing Hitchhiker, made me jump a few times; this one gave me the full-on willies now and then.
