Cadenza: The Eternal Dance

Mad Head Games proudly presents another musical adventure in their popular Cadenza series! A mysterious masked gentleman crashes your perfect proposal dinner before you even get the chance to pop the question to your girlfriend, claiming her brother Theo signed a contract with him. But when Theo denies him, the man kidnaps your girlfriend as well, and now you are the only one who can save them from an eternal fate in another world! Search Theo’s apartment for clues and follow the trail, before you lose them forever in this charming hidden-object puzzle adventure.

In all honesty, I think the SE is the better choice. The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward, silhouette, putting items back and symbols. She succeeds, destroying the spirit and freeing Nathan from the curse. The map is great. This was so much fun without portals and imps and puppets. I know that sometimes HOGs get monotonous with tired storylines and worn out puzzles. I bought the game and I'm not sorry I did. Nothing we haven't seen before, but for some reason they were fun to do. The Final Duet Warning: Spoiler for the Ending Mazotti reveals his true color The final melody Add a photo to this gallery Mazotti reveals himself to be none other than the Phantom of the Eternal Dance, who vows vengeance against Nathan for destroying his land. The storyline is unique and I love the eye candy graphics. The Mini Games aren't that fun, and most are far to easy to solve. Graphics were very good and the music was fine. Some are very good. I honestly still don't understand the premise

Another thing I really liked was the mini games. The Cryptex is used to activate various musical machines, which as far as gadgets go, isn't on the upper scale of Ripley's believe it or not, but still? I stopped writing reviews for a couple of weeks please keep giving as much as you can to Florence survivors--my county was lucky but the devastation continues. But we are still purchasing, hoping Madhead will get it together!! Not only do we suffer through ghosts and goblins in about every game going, but they have taken this one to the extreme. The Final Duet Warning: Spoiler for the Ending Mazotti reveals his true color The final melody Add a photo to this gallery Mazotti reveals himself to be none other than the Phantom of the Eternal Dance, who vows vengeance against Nathan for destroying his land. The second seems kind of petty, but when an inventory item had multiples, such as 6 berries, you have to click 6 different times to place all 6 items not just a group placement and they all go to the same place. Edit Taking place some time after their wedding, Nathan and Elaine decided to head off to a peaceful town of Sorrento for their honeymoon and wash away the bad memories. These are huge and very easy to spot. I won't repeat what most folks have been saying for weeks. Using the element of fire, water, earth, and wind and their symbols, Elaine succeeds in recovering the mask and uses it to recreate the dance, regaining the magical Cryptex. Some are very good. Is it only a matter of time before all of their games, even for the PC, are pay-to-play? Great game and a long one too! So, do you get the CE or SE?

Pour Cadenza: The Eternal Dance

I have to admit I am extremely disappointed in what Mad Head has done to this series with this addition. The Mini Games aren't that fun, and most are far to easy to solve. I still recommend, only bc it is Madhead!!! The map is great. Date Santa Vs. Banker Rated 3 out of 5 by rpggramma from OK!? Edit Taking place some time after their wedding, Nathan and Elaine decided to head off to a peaceful town of Sorrento for their honeymoon and wash away the bad memories. The artwork is excellent. Story is not the greatest, but fun factor more than makes up for any deficiency. One thing I loved about the Cadenza series was Cadenza: The Eternal Dance it was realistic and believable, so I was Virtual Families disappointed that not only did the story seem far fetched, but when they introduced a gadget, I knew it was game over. Not Fort Defense do we suffer through ghosts and goblins in Spring in Japan every game going, but they have taken this one to the Forrest Gump Match 3 Game. Other aspects of the game are comparable to what players have come to expect from Big Fish hidden object games. The games, HOs, map, journal and graphics are good. Theo is about to propose to his girlfriend, Elaine, when a masked man appears out of nowhere and kidnaps her in the restaurant and is holding her hostage. I can say nothing negative even though it was a very short game.

There were a couple that took me longer to do which was the bottles game in the bonus and navigating tiles with directional arrows to get from A to B. Date published: Having no choice, Elaine follows the man to an abandoned arena where she discovers a magical organ similar to the one in the main game. I bought the game and I'm not sorry I did. The hidden object games are mainly interactive straightforward, silhouette, putting items back and symbols. There were two features that rather annoyed me, the first, was having to place each item exactly where the gears were, not just "near" the general area. This "eternal" dance is simply cash slipping from my fingers. While Cadenza continues to maintain an average 4 star rating, some editions are better than others. The Mini Games aren't that fun, and most are far to easy to solve. I did and I look forward to more Cadenza games in the future. The man tells Elaine that he need her help in order to remove the curse from Nathan. The storyline is unique and I love the eye candy graphics. Here's a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if either, is right for you: The Eternal Dance is just another story about someone who makes the devil a deal, but refuses to honor the contract when payment is due. Recommeded if you feel like chilling out and feeling like an easy game to play. Although there is a slight twist to Theo's motive for making the deal in the first place, there's nothing new, nothing exciting about it, and it certainly doesn't hold a candle to the original Cadenza, Music, Betrayal and Death.

Hidden objects were good and enjoyable to play. The Final Duet Warning: Spoiler for the Ending Mazotti reveals his true color The final melody Add Cqdenza: photo to this gallery Mazotti reveals himself to be none other than the Phantom of the Eternal Dance, who vows vengeance against Nathan for destroying his land. The game was OK. The Hidden Object Scenes are basically all the same, but Sparkle Unleashed are multi-layered, some have a small Mini Game, and the CE version has a Morphing Object to find in Battle Slots one. They weren't dark and drab like usual in this genre of game and were really pleasant. They were unique, but not too difficult.

Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by BooksandGameFan from Not even in the same league as the first 3 games in this series! I know that sometimes HOGs get monotonous with tired storylines and worn out puzzles. As usual it shows where there is something to do and transports. However, these are all very accomplishable. Come on Madhead, we love you; you are one of our favorites. This is definitely not Mad Heads best. The graphics are spectacular - colours are great, well defined and every scene is clear to see. One thing I loved about the Cadenza series was that it was realistic and believable, so I was really disappointed that not only did the story seem far fetched, but when they introduced a gadget, I knew it was game over. I don't expect games to be so challenging they're frustrating, and I don't mind easy puzzles, as long as they are fun, but for me personally, these were not that fun. There were also too many moments that just defied logic. Read GrannyGruffs reviews for such instances. The man tells Elaine that he need her help in order to remove the curse from Nathan.

  1. Please BF and developers, I remember games that could take me days to complete, and these days, many of us need distractions and are willing to pay for them. Goodnight, Big Fish. Although there is a slight twist to Theo's motive for making the deal in the first place, there's nothing new, nothing exciting about it, and it certainly doesn't hold a candle to the original Cadenza, Music, Betrayal and Death. Not wanting the history to repeat again and to prevent future tragedy, Elaine and Nathan agree to throw the mask into the depth of the ocean, for no one shall be able to find and use it for evil again. The man tells Elaine that he need her help in order to remove the curse from Nathan.

  2. It's not a bad game, it just didn't make very much sense. Although there is a slight twist to Theo's motive for making the deal in the first place, there's nothing new, nothing exciting about it, and it certainly doesn't hold a candle to the original Cadenza, Music, Betrayal and Death. I was weary of the repetitive "dated," "give us more," "loyal fans" chorus that BF seems to be ignoring. I didn't bother with the BC, because it was a story that takes place on the "honeymoon" and I really had no interest to play this particular scenario, so I don't know if there's an opportunity to go back and search for any missing Dancing Couple's collectibles. I stopped writing reviews for a couple of weeks please keep giving as much as you can to Florence survivors--my county was lucky but the devastation continues.

  3. Very Brief Dance So much about this game is lovely, and initially I began a rave review, but then the game ended--very quickly. The man tells Elaine that he need her help in order to remove the curse from Nathan. Using the element of fire, water, earth, and wind and their symbols, Elaine succeeds in recovering the mask and uses it to recreate the dance, regaining the magical Cryptex.

  4. There didn't seem to be a lot of running around, but it still came in handy. But we are still purchasing, hoping Madhead will get it together!! I recommend the game because of the hidden objects and puzzles, but little else.

  5. The man tells Elaine that he need her help in order to remove the curse from Nathan. She succeeds, destroying the spirit and freeing Nathan from the curse. Even if the story wasn't so sadly lacking and befuddled I found it to be too easy and for me, that's saying a lot because I normally like my games on the easier side but this was just too easy and had zero challenge which made it boring as heck! I bought the game and I'm not sorry I did.

  6. Very sad to say I will not be purchasing this game which I was so looking forward to since I've loved all the others in this series. Feeling interested, they try playing the song, only to discover that it is a cursed melody, turning Nathan into a golden statue. I hate to admit it, but I enjoyed playing most of them. I did and I look forward to more Cadenza games in the future. The graphics are spectacular - colours are great, well defined and every scene is clear to see.

  7. I love the awesome voices of the characters who do not just dry read the script but instead puts emotion in their voices. Come on Madhead, we love you; you are one of our favorites. The Cryptex is used to activate various musical machines, which as far as gadgets go, isn't on the upper scale of Ripley's believe it or not, but still?

  8. I'll not go into the the story itself as others will do so much better than I. I missed a couple of Morph's, and was happy that I was able to replay those HO's to collect the morphs I missed. The music was wonderful and moving. The Mini Games aren't that fun, and most are far to easy to solve.

  9. Hidden objects were good and enjoyable to play. The map is great. I recommend the game because of the hidden objects and puzzles, but little else. Or to pay for those power-ups that are necessary to beat otherwise impossible levels in many of the other BF games?

  10. There were also too many moments that just defied logic. Another thing I really liked was the mini games. Just enough of a twist to make them easy enough for me to enjoy. Play the demo and maybe you'll get more out of this than I did. He then instructs her to remove the four seals placed upon the mask that she once wore, and uses it to recreate the Eternal Dance and thus finally release him.

  11. I hate to admit it, but I enjoyed playing most of them. Items to find are clear to see. There didn't seem to be a lot of running around, but it still came in handy.

  12. The cryptex gadget that you use in the piano is a clever and useful tool that adds an extra surprise to the adventure too. The storyline is unique and I love the eye candy graphics. This is definitely not Mad Heads best. They weren't dark and drab like usual in this genre of game and were really pleasant.
