Mystery Trackers: Raincliffs Phantoms Collectors Edition

Brought to you by Elephant Games, the creators of the Christmas Stories series and Mystery Case Files: Fate's Carnival. Now you see us… now you don’t. It should have been a lighthearted human interest story, but what Emilie White reported on in this abandoned town scared her witless – and now she’s vanished. Nobody can say what happened to her, and only a few like you know the stories of invisible people living there are true... Return to Raincliff, where what you see isn’t always what you get. This is a special Collector's Edition release full of exclusive extras you won’t find in the standard version. As a bonus, Collector's Edition purchases count toward three stamps on your Monthly Game Club Punch Card! The Collector’s Edition includes:

MT: Raincliff's Phantoms is my most recent stop on the "recovery tour. In this game you have to collect heat source by finding morphing objects. Enjoyed the adventure with great graphics and storyline. There is a map you can use that will take you where you need to go directly, and that cuts down 'travel time'. The sound effects including, or most especially, the pitter patter of your canine assistant, little Elf's feet are perfect. There are several achievements all having to do with either speed, completeness, or using no hints to hasten progress. Elf is an annoyance to some players but a lovable little poocher to me You, as the detective, together with your faithful dog Elf, must uncover the truth behind invisible characters and the 'Headless One' and try to restore the invisibles back to their corporeal forms. I'm retracing my steps and trying to take advantage of this large library of games I own. A reporter has gone missing in Raincliff and the video footage discovered suggest that she might have been kidnapped. The storyline of the bonus chapter follows logically from the standard game. Personally I skipped 2. Great storyline, graphics and HOS, along with lots of extras. Some gamers live for the super-puzzles while they are confounding to others. I did allow this to happen once to see what game playing ramifications ensue.

Finally, there is a bonus chapter. I couldn't ask for more. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and I can't wait to see the next Mystery Tracker! There is an integrated strategy guide that is more than adequate. This has a great storyline, invisible people that do not want you there, but you get a little dog who will help you, so do not forget about Elf. Some players love live actors and others hate them. Mini Puzzles: I am always attracted to puzzles more than HOS and Phantoms doesn't disappoint in either frequency or challenge. You are sent to see what happened to a reporter who has gone missing in a spooky and very wintry town called Raincliff. Is it the most entertaining? Once you arrived there, you know that something is not right with the town — with invisible people walking here and there and a headless guy trying to kill you; use your detective skills to solve this supernatural case in Raincliff! This game does not take as long to really get going, it is easy to figure out what you need to do. This one is special. I would prefer simply just characters, they are more believable.

In the CE, the "extras" include, the typical "who cares" collection of wallpapers, concept art and music. You will enjoy a lot. They may be gratifying to acquire but I strongly recommend it. It is definitely fun. In frost mode, the temperature gradually drops until a morphing item is identified, at which point the player is "re-warmed. Submit Thank you for writing a post! A reporter has gone missing in Raincliff and the video footage discovered suggest that she might have been kidnapped. One thing about this, you get more than three levels of play, I think you get about five, ranging from casual to very, very expert. It's the same high quality as the rest of the game. There's also some nice humour going on, such as "Violators will be shot. So, you can really challenge yourself or frustrate yourself, because on the hardest level, there are no helps whatsoever! 1. I found him a cute little helper with just the right amount of interaction. Did the main game end satisfactorily? Inventory items are not highlightable and no activities can be completed until the morphing item is found. Do you have an issue with your game? Some games have very loose story lines, the purpose of which is to provide an excuse to present a series of HOS and Puzzles to the player.

  2. The HOS are straightforward list finds. Some players love live actors and others hate them. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by iscrubin from I'm hooked on fish Loved this game best in a very long time Date published: The extra contents in this game is the usual stuff, and you don't have to even play the bonus chapter, the main game itself is sufficient. Did the main game end satisfactorily?

  3. This will divide some gamers, because one aspect is concluded totally, but another aspect is dealt with in the bonus. The storyline of the bonus chapter follows logically from the standard game. It is not an alternate ending, but, rather, a more complete ending. On top of this, we have something new - a 'Frost Mode'.

  4. Mini Puzzles: I am always attracted to puzzles more than HOS and Phantoms doesn't disappoint in either frequency or challenge. This game, on the other hand, is greater than the sum of its individual parts. The Mystery Trackers series is easily one of my favorite series that Big Fish offers. From start to finish MT: Raincliff's Phantoms is an excellent game.

  5. I'm retracing my steps and trying to take advantage of this large library of games I own. They don't just appear out of nowhere and for no reason. Despite the collection of value-less extras, I recommend the CE on the basis of the bonus chapter and SG. Nothing too hard.

  6. While playing you will also need to collect video tapes, watch them and get photos to match a certain spot in the game to earn items. Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your review. If it carries on as it did in the demo, it will be a great one to add to your collection.

  7. It is not an alternate ending, but, rather, a more complete ending. I would prefer simply just characters, they are more believable. The morphing items and the accompanying "frost mode" and the collectibles are not challenging, as a consequence of the hovering hand cursor. This game heavily relies on the bonus chapter to wrap things up, so do not buy the regular edition unless you mind sudden endings! So, you can really challenge yourself or frustrate yourself, because on the hardest level, there are no helps whatsoever!
