Make your escape from an uncharted, beautiful and deadly planet in Severe Incident: Cargo Flight 821. Flight 821 has crashed on an alien planet which appears to have been inhabited in the distant past. You and your trustworthy robot companion Oscar will uncover the mystery of the planet’s lost inhabitants as you work together to find a way home in this gorgeous Hidden Object adventure game.

The only companion you have is your trustworthy sidekick, Oscar. I finished it in just under three hours. I Almost gave this game a 5 star game but unfortunately the graphics were just not up to standard. Unfortunately, the robot serves as your hint system and journal, storing all relevant information and the map of the planet. I myself am off to join Oscar and continue onwards and awayyyyyy. When you do come across a hidden object scene, they prove to be blurry, massive junkpiles with poor item naming and if possible worse visuals than anywhere else in the experience. It's a buy for me. A routine cargo shipment has crossed paths with a meteor field. The HO scenes are junk-piled and non-interactive. It appears as though, inhabitants have been on this planet before, but where have they gone? You quest is to find parts, assemble them and search the planet with Oscar, who also provides you with a map and task list. Currently the Game can be purchased for download from Amazon. The hint button doesn't work outside of the HOS. Unique storyline. Some of the hints are provided through what I'll call cut-away shots. This may prove difficult since your ship is completely destroyed. The story line was kinda short, but I don't really care about that! There are no real hints, except for the HOG's. Unfortunately, this is one title that suffers from poor design choices from beginning to end. Slow moving and unnecessarily challenging. This is an awesome game! This may prove difficult since your ship is completely destroyed. This game, being different began to draw me in Flitht trying to figure out how it works. Eventually, just before the demo ended I had that ah ha! Look at things very closely and if you think you should be able to do something, the robot will respond!! The story is that your ship has crashed on a mysterious planet and both you and Oscar must find a way to escape. This game actually makes you think and use your reasoning powers, and that's refreshing.

I'm stuck at the moment but am trying everything to get out of my little pickle - such a beautiful difference from the tedious HOG's where you don't have to think much at all and if you do, the hint button is just a second away. I think the game deserves a better rating than what it is being given, but as another reviewer said, "You'll either love it or hate it. There are mini-games to play and they were relatively easy to solve.

  2. Hidden object scenes all over the place! The journal ultimately functions fine, by storing puzzle combinations or clues, buy proves to have a clumsy UI. Fron then on, Oscar the Robot is your companion, guide, hint and data holder. I like the artwork and the music is not an irritant. There are times when I just want to zone out and play something minimally challenging, but its nice to have a challenge every now and then.
