I highly recommend it! Thanks for returning to your Shadowplay roots, with another amazing game that tops the creep charts. Not so with this game developer. Cons: fairly short game, puzzle difficulty with one exception is only intermediate and not adjustable. You play Erica Harris and you are employed by the Corp Tex Corporation to investigate a secret project where a toxic waste accident contaminating Ambose Island has occurred leaving multiple workers dead and one missing This is exactly what I did, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when I return to the Island, to finish the story, it won't let me down, but after all, this is a very, very, Mad Head World! But The Forsaken Island held my attention, in fact, there were several times, that I kept playing just a little bit longer, when I had other things I had to get done other than playing a game, because I wanted to learn the how's and why's! I really enjoyed playing the game and looked forward every day to playing it. Please try the demo and decide for yourself. This is one game that should have allowed you to pick either male or female. The HOPS are excellent and varied with some new styles included among the very creative scenes. This to me was more of a male part, but the designers chose a lady, so I got my high heels on and played away. Get them all and you get an achievement. In this new game for the Shadowplay series, your beloved brother, Mark, was on a research team working on a secluded island when a disaster occurred and it was thought that all the researchers were killed.

Cons: fairly short game, puzzle difficulty with one exception is only intermediate and not adjustable. You can also Shadowlpay: any spirals that you missed or Sweet Lily Dreams: Chapter III to do all at once in the Extras as well. Welcome back Mad Head Games!! The HOS were varied and fun. Could the beacon be an experimental device causing this contamination? There's plenty to do in each scene and a real urgency to help Mark. At times, the game felt confused regarding what it was trying to be, a horror or a science fiction. I found the storyline different thankfully and, not only is it good, it is well-told. The HOPs are fun to play and the storyline is a good one. Colours are muted, so not hard Shadowplay: The Forsaken Island the eyes. The graphics are gorgeous and each scene is perfect and well defined. The plot held my interest and most of all made sense even though there's a supernatural element to it. The right amount of mystery and challenge [for me, anyway : ], music - Isand - WAS there music? The music is mainly orchestral, guitar and piano.

The music is mainly orchestral, guitar and piano. I had an awesome time playing this 4 hour sci-fi adventure and another hour with the bonus chapter. Surely, there were still some horror elements that we have known and loved from this series thrown in, but they felt random and failed to make any real impressions. How was anyone able to survive for three years in a toxic environment? Could the beacon be an experimental device causing this contamination? Linear, logical plot with not as much back-and-forth as the previous entries in the series. Better question is, who or what is the survivor!? But our mission is still dangerous, we need to stick together. There is a Morphing Object within the main HOP's in this Collector's Edition version, a feature that would make me jump for joy, IF they were offered in each location scene of the main game, NOT within just the HOP's Some of the HOP's require you to locate 4 items that will then open up an Interactive List find, and some where the items found move aside to expose a puzzle fragment, as well as Silhouetted Shape finds, or combinations of both types of HOP's. These are all good fun to do and I was never bored. The graphics are gorgeous and each scene is perfect and well defined. Its not like they are too hard, but there are a lot of variables to finally get to the end. The Hidden Object Scenes are decent, but nothing special, nothing new offered.

Colours Islanr muted, so not hard on the eyes. My only disappointments are that the only CE bling offered are those same boring collectible Spirals they stick out like a sore thumb! The HOPS are excellent and varied with some new styles Antique Road Trip 2: Homecoming among the very creative scenes. I found the storyline different thankfully and, not only is it good, it is well-told. Cons: fairly short game, puzzle difficulty Shadowplsy: one exception is only intermediate and not adjustable.

Get them all and you get an achievement. Thanks for returning to your Shadowplay roots, with another amazing game that tops the creep charts. Enough scenery to make it an enjoyable viewing. But he avoids any touch and leaves only a slip of paper with a map, the advice to look for an USB stick with all information on it. The CE bling is fairly standard with nothing outstanding in the package. Shadowplay: The Forsaken Island is an unbalanced mix of horror and Sci-Fi, although it is still an entertaining and eye-catching adventure. How was anyone able to survive for three years in a toxic environment? Sure there were those moments where you had to suspend logic a bit but they were very few and far between. Straightforward plot, plenty of puzzles, nice balance between them and the HOS. Find out in this incredible thriller that will make you jump out of your seat!!! I was able to do most all of them, which is a big change for me. I only managed to get 2 stars in some of the HOPs because some take a while to do.

Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by ladynextdoor from Loved It Terrific story and puzzles. Once you arrive on the island you mission leads you to the Corp Tex lab where a strange beacon noise emanates from the main building. Cons: fairly short game, puzzle difficulty with one exception is only intermediate and not adjustable. I only managed to get 2 stars in some of the HOPs because some take a while to do. Pros: nice bright graphics, very good music, excellent voice acting. Contained several types of puzzles, but none were too hard, which is what I prefer. Date published: It may be the fact that I'm very close to my brother so saving my brother in this game felt like something I would absolutely do no matter the danger. Bonus game was good, too. Drones deployed to search for survivors, were unable to detect any signs of life, so everyone is presumed to be dead, including your brother Mark, that is, until an emergency beacon was activated less than 12 hours ago! Date published: Now, years later, an emergency beacon has been activated on the site, indicating someone has survived. Rated 5 out of 5 by RPgames from Brother where I liked this game.

  1. How was anyone able to survive for three years in a toxic environment? These are all good fun to do and I was never bored. Cons: fairly short game, puzzle difficulty with one exception is only intermediate and not adjustable.

  2. A little more detail on the villains might have been nice. The music is mainly orchestral, guitar and piano. I liked the story. No idea; I was too caught up in the story and game play to pay attention. Have you been deceived by a hidden agenda?

  3. Has your brother been infected? Perhaps a bit over acted, but hey, it's a game. These are all good fun to do and I was never bored. This is the third edition of the fantastic Madhead series Shadowplay and it's a fascinating to play as the other releases in this series. Mostly this game is notable as being better than other current offerings from Mad Head.

  4. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by kellijaebaeli from too bad Played the demo--it was good until a mini game would not let me advance in the game. The quality of the soundtracks in Shadowplay are impressive too and they effectively build up the suspense of the game. There is some back and forth and the map showed me where there was something to do and would transport me. Further, the menu and the inventory bar are smartly and cleanly designed so that they fit perfectly with the environment and do not distract players from the game.

  6. Find out in this incredible thriller that will make you jump out of your seat!!! The Hidden Object Scenes are decent, but nothing special, nothing new is offered, then again, I'm rarely impressed by HOP's anymore, because the objects seem to be less and less hidden as time goes by. The hidden object scenes were standard and fairly basic. Sure there were those moments where you had to suspend logic a bit but they were very few and far between. I highly recommend it!

  7. How was anyone able to survive for three years in a toxic environment? Could the beacon be an experimental device causing this contamination? Happy gaming!

  8. The quality of the soundtracks in Shadowplay are impressive too and they effectively build up the suspense of the game. You'll appreciate the amazing visuals; all the scenes are sharply rendered and look nothing short of stunning. Linear, logical plot with not as much back-and-forth as the previous entries in the series.
