An exciting new series from ERS Game Studios, creators of PuppetShow, Grim Façade, and Spirits of Mystery! The sheriff of Meadows Town has disappeared without a trace, and you've been hired as his replacement. But a recent storm has emptied the town of almost all inhabitants. The streets are boarded up and abandoned, and no one can explain the forces behind the weather... or the terrifying string of murders that has just begun. Only you and your deputy are left to piece together the mystery of mummified bodies and ghostly apparitions. Can an angry spirit really be the cause of the turmoil? Or is there something else afoot in this strangely empty town? Find out in this spooky Hidden Object Adventure game! This is a special Collector's Edition release full of exclusive extras you won't find in the standard version. One of the reasons I purchase CEs is for the hidden collectibles and morphing items. There are collectible runes which must be placed in certain scrollworks. The gameplay is the best I've seen in quite a while. HOSs: I only came across 2. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by nora64 from Amazing game I can't explain very much because my english is not so good, but I am very excited that I have purchased that game now and can play it to the end. You have the Evidence board that holds all your findings, a pretty good jump map that sometimes shows you where to go next, and a cool "spirit device" that lets you collect paranormal activity to get rid of an unfriendly spirit in the room. However, toward the end, I started to feel like the just needed to get the game done. The poorly operating Hint button; the orb, which glows-but no energy to use it just yet- so that only defeated the purpose. The CC edition is worth the money. I can't wait for this weekend sale. Collectors are usually what I go for because of the Strategy Guide plus bonus content. The graphics were okay and so was the music. Had a Ruins Room which I forgot to visit while finding Ruins in strategic locations.

Ghosts of the Past: Bones of Meadows Town CE ♥ Walkthrough PART 1

I liked that there is not an overabundance of hidden object scenes at least in the demo that took me 50 minutes to complete 4. Regardless of that, Ghost of the Past delivers as a solid detective game. A definite Pick up for me! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by nora64 from Amazing game I can't explain very much because my english is not so good, but I am very excited that I have purchased that game now and can play it to the end. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. Very nice, realistic sound FX. This game had everything I like. I have been critical of some of their recent efforts but this a step in the right direction IMHO. Despite that they remain a fav for me!! I usually tend to veer off the more scary creepy Hidden object games, but this game just spoke to me! Kudos though for no sparkles or black bar tips on the hardest mode. Ghosts of the Past: Bones of Meadows Town is entertaining nonetheless, even though it is not very original or overly-exciting; all the game mechanics just fit together very well and flow very smoothly. I especially like the map to it, It's not only jumpable, but I love the legend on it. I haven't even bothered writing reviews as the games offered of late are so poor.

The graphics were okay and so was the music. You also have an orb to collect paranormal energy, which in turn eliminates the dark entity aPst: a while. My fears are allayed. Great fun to play but not really challenging enough for me - finished well within the time limit playing on most difficult. A transportation map is always a help. I get the feeling the game length will be in keeping with what gamers want. There is a connection, they were all friends, but when you meet an angry ghost who threatens that you're next, you realize that Ancient Stories: Gods of Egypt only theory was wrong, now what? With the custom mode you can reduce the hint and skip to 5 seconds which I love. SG was the usual and had very clear instructions. All of this makes the gameplay more challenging and fun. The puzzles do have some originality and those in the demo were are very doable. Should she not have some accent? Ghosta new sheriff arrives in town to solve the mystery of serial murder and disappearances.

This seems to be a speciality of ERS and I am befuddled as to why?? Graphics were crisp and storyline well thought out. This game just had too few hidden objects for me to find. Other Extras included in the Collector's Edition can be found in the checklist below. I can't remember another Hidden Object game involving Vikings, so it is pretty neat to have a Viking love story as the theme of this game. I loved the extras with the ability to replay the mini-games and hidden object scenes. We must put out a fire and the cop hands over a fire hose yet he is standing next to the hydrant. Rather than having a journal or diary, we have an evidence board that will help us deduce what exactly is going on and who the culprit s might be. Had a Ruins Room which I forgot to visit while finding Ruins in strategic locations. I especially like the map to it, It's not only jumpable, but I love the legend on it. I think this one will appeal to all levels of players. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by LogieBaby from After a few duds, ERS delivers When I started the demo and learned ERS is the developer, I initially took pause since their games recently have not been up to par with most of its early efforts.

Arctic Story was a find pairs and the other a replace items. I thoroughly recommend you give it a try and Madows you enjoy it as much as I did. Meadow published: Rated 5 oTwn of 5 by nora64 from Amazing game I can't explain very much because my english is not so good, but I am very excited that I have purchased that game now and can play it to the end. And you're next! In the CE you Collectorw wallpapers, Monkey Money 2 savers, movies, concept art, and meet the creators in the workshop. I can't wait for this weekend sale. Seems Cursed House - Irish Language Version! Dugan knew about the Viking curse that would throw the town into devastating turmoil if the spirit guarding the Viking treasure was disturbed, he even had a Spirit Detector which allows you to find and collect the energy from ghostly energy and banish that energy from our world and unblock the cursed items. Lots of mini-games. It is not easy to play or I am just totally uncoordinated, which may be the case.

It was long, challenging, interesting, and definitely CE worthy. IMHO, this developer always a presents games that are what I personally find to be the complete package and ultimately playable. The middle was a long pursuit of finding objects here and there and everywhere to put here and there and everywhere. I have been critical of some of their recent efforts but this a step in the right direction IMHO. The game can get a little easy at times, probably due to our Sheriff helper which is far too helpful. Other Extras included in the Collector's Edition can be found in the checklist below. The storyline turns out to be a bit intriguing although very similar to others, and of course there is the angry female spirit that we need to deal with as the story unfolds. Well, the answer is quite a bit since there is the inevitable car crash and you must extricate yourself right off the bat. Purchased the CE based on what I thought was a promising beginning that spiraled out of control into the zany world of ERS and then surfaced again to a conclusion. Why not base the game in England then, as that would be a lot more accurate and make more sense to the player? Visuals are great, puzzles solvable without extreme frustration and creative HOS. Beautiful graphics and story line.

  1. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by Donq47 from Enjoying this game. In this game you can focus on what is happening and not worry about the number of collectables you need to find. One of the enjoyable things about Bones of Meadows Town is the tongue-in-cheek dialogue and humor in the game, which is quite funny at times. So, I will be buying this weekend.

  2. In certain locations you have to find 5 spirits energies to get a part of the story. My one and only criticism is the silly to me voices that say "Yes" every time you accomplish something. Most of the puzzles were fairly easy. I always hear other reviewers complaining about too many HOS, well here's your game!

  3. Despite that, credits go to the voice-overs which are usually on-point with nice lip-syncing. It was in my opinion among ERS's top 10 games, and truly surprised me considering its mixed reviews. Minigames a little different than usual which were good. My one and only criticism is the silly to me voices that say "Yes" every time you accomplish something.

  4. It was long, challenging, interesting, and definitely CE worthy. It was challenging sometimes. So worth it! So I truly hope they take the players' reviews to heart and keep this up. You have the Evidence board that holds all your findings, a pretty good jump map that sometimes shows you where to go next, and a cool "spirit device" that lets you collect paranormal activity to get rid of an unfriendly spirit in the room.

  5. The only collectibles I found are the runes, which are pretty well hidden here and there. A game's superiority comes from how it captures its audience versus finding all the funky things that CE are famous for. It also had an almost 'tongue-in-cheek' humour which kept me smiling and added to the fun factor. By the time I want to use either a skip or hint I want to do it right now, not wait for a minute or two.
