When I played the beta some time ago, I found a good, exciting crime story with animals as characters, so I felt reminded of a fable. There is a variety of different styles of scenes. HOS and puzzles are creative and entertaining. They have a great story. Very well-crafted graphics and appropriate sounds. Move a knight around a set of squares until all are lit green. The story gives me the feeling of watching an old crime movie — charming, with a clear characterization of the figures. I do feel the puzzles fit the sleuthing aspect of the game. Good characterization and good voice overs, except the accents seemed to come and go at times A flickering light in one HOG was rather annoying but short lived.

Music is okay but a bit on the jazzy theme. The affair from the past will become the source of questions that you will try to answer. There are deduction puzzles which require you to assess if a suspect is telling the truth. I am over the ghost ones. But this is my favorite developer and will support them whenever I can. If I had any criticism, which is very minor, some of the games were a bit too easy for my tastes, but they were inventive. There are morphing objects within this scene C Storybook. If you haven't tried this game yet, I would give the demo a try. You can replay some of the HOP scenes and puzzles as well. They are also thematic and fit quite nicely within the theme of the game. To me, the game is creatively designed with plenty of action and a nice portrayal of the dark side of the Big City. Follow the sequence of punches to punch out a baddie. These items can then be used to open the way to the next scene, as well as solve the occasional puzzles. Personally, I thought the animal characters were a novel addition to the game. Knock out the baddie. Deduction puzzle. The intro shows a scene, as if taken out of an older gangster movie: the boss of a gang orders a murder. There are deduction puzzles which require you to assess if a suspect is telling the truth.

  2. Glad to play a game where the villians are well human characters. The items include shoe prints, handprints, and one fingerprint! Fox calls the police. They are also thematic and fit quite nicely within the theme of the game. Lastly, the graphics are the same pre-rendered scenes with hand-drawn artwork on top, but they look gorgeous most of the time, and the artists were free to add as much detail as they wanted without impacting the performance.
