Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past (Gameplay) HD

First game I'm torn between the overall rating. And, of course, there's yet another gadget which you will, I am sure, have use for many times throughout the game. Well done, Mad Head Games. It also allows you to read, books, signs, and instructions once you arrive on their planet. If you love a good Sci-Fi game that blends the best of both worlds, then you will want to see the story unfold as you play. I found it absorbing and not bogged down by tedious chores or a lot of inventory, meaning everything I had to do made sense. I tend to go in and out of games a lot, so I need something like this to keep track for me. Looking forward to the next Moonsouls game, Mad Head. As always, I recommend that you try the demo to see if you will enjoy Moonsouls Echoes of the Past as much as I did. Try it for yourself. This tool not only works to help us complete tasks, but can also be used to interact with non-interactive spots in the game, such as translating notes, random city signs, and so on. And I think that goes for the hidden object scenes and mini games as well.

There Mkonsouls: a few Gadgets, 2 of which Jewel Keepers only used in the first chapter when wearing a diving suit, a Hook and a Clamp that's used 3 times each and doesn't involve a repetitive mini-game. Well done, Mad Head Games. In my opinion, seek and enjoy! I'm having a lot of fun with it. Story had a nice twist. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by fenamba12 from Fun Game Just too short for a demo, as soon as we make the first move towards the portal it's over. My favorite puzzles were the key puzzles that required replicating the pattern on the clues but it's shown in a different orientation. You play as Chief Shard who goes to Solitaire 330 Deluxe to seek her newfound friends' help when a disease spreads rapidly throughout the Guardians. Completed Game approximately 4. I didn't get bored. Kudos to Mad Head Games! Date published: First game I'm torn between the overall rating. This Echoex simply blew me away and I loved it!

It's almost as if someone who doesn't enjoy hops was giving advise about them. Zero points for inventiveness. I skipped all the puzzles. I have never become tired of the genre and Moonsouls The Lost Sanctum is one of the best and most beautiful games in recent years. One of the best features of Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past is the superb drawing of characters and scenery. The graphics were beautiful. The storyline was fascinating, and I needed to find out how it all ended. My review is based upon completed play of the game and bonus chapter and this one is a story in itself, a true bonus. I liked it a lot! Nobody else seems to be moving forward, they just keep releasing one game after another, in the same old series that dates back to the beginning of the HOPA craze, and they are dreadful games at that! They continue to release new series games that are incredible! Under the sea part was my favorite with a crane on the front of the ship. First game I'm torn between the overall rating.

If there is one thing that distinguishes Moonsouls from the Beyond games, it would be that Moonsouls sets in the medieval era, quite an interesting time period for a Sci-Fi game. Build-in-Time the sea part was Claws & Feathers favorite with a crane on the Mystical Island of the ship. We are able to translate Alien Language with a gantlet same in Stargate - goa'uld and we have special powers. It also allows you to read, books, signs, and instructions once you arrive on their planet. Visually it is very well done, but not nearly long enough or challenging enough to be worth it, in my opinion. This game simply blew me away and I loved it! I'm rarely impressed with HOP's nowadays because they are just soooo easy, but I absolutely loved these! You also use a Moonsouls Glove 5 times, but it doesn't involve a mini-game either. They continue to release new series games that are incredible! The graphics were beautiful. The hops have become cluttered lately. Just pick them up and look at the pretty picture and continue the story.

If you like being able to complete all the challenges in a game, this one will work. I got a little lost with the thread of the plot, but it didn't really matter. I don't want to have to work too hard. Some of the collectibles were definitely difficult to spot while others more or less jumped out at me. If you love a good Sci-Fi game that blends the best of both worlds, then you will want to see the story unfold as you play. Yes, it's a short game, but they trashed all of the cliche tasks except for one angry swarm of hornets added really interesting HOP's, fun puzzles, and a fresh new plot. The graphics are sharp, the cutscenes are top-notch, and the fancy visual effects are sophisticated. My favorites were finding items that Matched Swatches, finding 2 of each item, Symbol Finds very challenging and a Mushroom Pair Match. They were located in interesting locations and most were very sci-fi or bright and colorful. Games have to have a decent story nowadays because they can't come up with a new way to actually play the game! In fact, I could barely tear myself away from it. Find items and interact with the components to unlock the diary. First game I'm torn between the overall rating. This is one of them. Liked the mechanical bird.

It also allows you to read, books, signs, and instructions once you arrive on their planet. The hops had large objects so your eye weren't strained. Although the puzzles were good and some were great I did skip of few of them such as the one where I needed to avoid objects coming at me. Can you even survive all that is coming your way? There is a Gadget involved, however, in my opinion, it works, and is something I could envision using in a futuristic world. Being a game that is heavily-focused on the science fiction aspect, I sort of expected the locations in the game to be more Sci-Fi-influence. Voice acting was good but the shortness still bothers me so a good sale or free game. Not everyone likes a challenge. The graphics were beautiful. Ditto for the pump handle and hose bit. Some gamers just want a game to entertain and relax. Map: The map tells where the player is and has the special mark when you have something to do there. The story is nothing new but a slight twist. I am no techie, and I was able to do what the game asked me to do.

  1. Date published: I don't want to have to work too hard. Whether you choose the SE version or the CE version it's definitely a 4 star game experience. Story had a nice twist. Can you even survive all that is coming your way?

  2. In a departure from the norm for this developer, you will find morphing objects located throughout the game and not only in the HOP scenes. Rotate triangle sections to move the ball to the end without colliding with the unmovable triangle. This is one of them.

  3. Try it for yourself. Drag the diver through a maze while avoiding dangers and sea creatures. Clever gameplay. In this Collector's Edition version, each HOP scene has a very challenging Morphing Object to find, and you can play the replayable HOP's to pick up Morphs you may have forgotten to look for, as well as some Achievements.

  4. As always, I recommend that you try the demo to see if you will enjoy Moonsouls Echoes of the Past as much as I did. Do you have what it takes to free Isaac and discover what this intergalactic vehicle is doing on Earth? I have never become tired of the genre and Moonsouls The Lost Sanctum is one of the best and most beautiful games in recent years.

  5. BFG was the first company to offer so many wonderful HO games while other companies focused more on puzzles with only an occasional HOPA, which is why I have been a member here since In the end I loved this game and now I am going to look forward to another game in the Moonsouls series. I have played Sanctum which is not bugged and I apologize for my review on the French Site, my touchpad is out and I can not click properly. Read on to find out in my Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past review how I felt playing the game and what's my opinion on it. Drag the diver through a maze while avoiding dangers and sea creatures.

  6. It was better before. Sadly, the game changed quite drastically after the demo and ended well before I thought it would. There are Morphing Objects in every scene as well as within the Hidden Object Scenes, The HO morphs are very challenging but they made the scene morphs way too obvious because the objects they morphed into were objects that looked way out of place in the scenery. I liked most of the hops except the portal symbol one, it had so much movement it made you dizzy.

  7. The Mini Games are very doable, most are of good length and entertaining. I remembered to look for all of the collectibles and morphs in each scene so I'm not sure if they allow you to go back to the scenes to search for them, after completing the Bonus Chapter. The diving machines have cool attachments that you use.

  8. I love puzzles in HOPA games and even though some puzzles are familiar there are still some surprises in difficulty. Ditto for the pump handle and hose bit. If you like being able to complete all the challenges in a game, this one will work.

  9. This alien risked everything, to deliver a dire message, "Your world is in danger, HE is coming"! I can't say why, who it's about, or what it's about without giving away the plot of the main story, sorry : but it was fairly interesting and I liked that it continues on the moon vs. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by Majestyx12 from Wanted to know I didn't like the trial of the CE so I used a free coupon to see what happen to the boy. It's almost as if someone who doesn't enjoy hops was giving advise about them. Not only are they both Sci-Fi-themed adventures, but the slight playfulness, and the hint of innocence are prevalent in both series.

  10. You can try to get stars for replaying the hops. True, the mini games are easy but I did not find the hidden object scenes overtly obvious but I am a player with only intermediate skills. In closing my hope is that more developers will offer good Sci-Fi games and get us out of the evil demon rut that seems to have been hanging around at BFG way too long. The storyline was easy to follow and the puzzles were medium. I remembered to look for all of the collectibles and morphs in each scene so I'm not sure if they allow you to go back to the scenes to search for them, after completing the Bonus Chapter.

  11. It was better before. I loved the puzzles that were more mental in type along with others that required moving objects through a maze. Will you be able to recognize truth and discard any lie, no matter how impressive it might be? Thank you Mad Head for creating such a wonderful game because for the first time in ages, I actually played the entire game while only stopping to stretch my limbs once in a while. I like the fact that it tells you if you have found the morphs and collectibles.

  12. I don't want to have to work too hard. MHG had lost its mojo lately, but this game has renewed my faith, Sci-fi is their wheelhouse and Moonsouls is a fantastic sci-fi! It also shows the ones you may have missed and which location they were in, which I really liked.

  13. The storyline was fascinating, and I needed to find out how it all ended. Map: The map tells where the player is and has the special mark when you have something to do there. Being a game that is heavily-focused on the science fiction aspect, I sort of expected the locations in the game to be more Sci-Fi-influence.
