Your journey to the fantasy land continues with the newest collection of mosaics puzzles! I would like to see more difficult versions of these games with: --multi-colored pictures --up to 25x25 grids --no "crossing-out" of completed numbers not necessary with autofill of dots --ability to re-set --fix of problem when filling outside the lines --penalty for errors is optional I personally cannot imagine why ppl want to pay for the unnecessary gardens and graphics, but I think I may be in the minority on that one I personally would be willing to pay more for a game like this. This seems to be a luxury at first thought, but I'm in two minds about it. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by mrm from Surprise! Every step you take in the game will help culture and restore your fantacy garden, but personally I could care less about building a garden. Cons --grid lines disappear as puzzle is filled in --cursor loses track of count when cursor slips --completed picture disappears too quickly --poor explanation of how to solve puzzles --frustratingly low error limit --must re-start puzzle if hit error limit --in FM 2 it is almost impossible to see hints, which flash randomly and briefly very nice fix with FM 3. Most have been mediocre IMO. Thanks dev for a nice game. I am pleased this developer elected to not do a lot of hand holding at the initial phase of the game. The new Color Cross Collections also have interactive teaching programs that are ideal for beginners and move quickly to more interesting puzzles. I like that the pictures are recognizable. Solving the puzzles is by logic and deduction, so no guessing seems necessary. There is a tutorial at the beginning but only as an illustration, not a guided step by step process, if you haven't played this type of game before hang in there once you get the hang of it you're hooked! Strategy when placing your pieces on the tile and a lot of patience is needed. I love mosaics.

  1. Happy Gaming! Glad BF got it. Fantasy Mosaics FM Pros --Large print is good for beginners--maximum puzzle is 15x20 --Cursor counts squares --A unique beginner's help is that the numbers corresponding to completed squares are crossed out in order, which makes puzzles much easier to solve. The object of this game is to logically fill in cells on a grid with number clues, keeping in mind that there must be a space between numbered cells.

  2. I love how it automatically fills up the line with blanks when there are no more squares to select, and it tells you when you have filled in a group of squares correctly even if it's in the middle of a line. For satisfaction, I prefer to manually fill the 'x' squares. 7. For satisfaction, I prefer to manually fill the 'x' squares. So many grid games start with a bunch of 10 X 10's which get boring really fast. Left click sometimes inserts errors for me, but I'm not a keypad expert and this may be my fault. Another winner, enjoy!

  8. This game will more than likely be added to my repertoire by using a free game credit. However, others will probably like this feature. But, the Fantasy Mosaic series really taught me the basic mechanics of the game.
