Phantasmat is supposed to be about a person who keeps having phantasmal visions that fill the player in with the necessary background story and eventually helps you come to terms with your new reality. Overall, I enjoyed it! The story line was common but again, so what? Honestly, Incredible Dracula: Chasing Love will BFG or developers realize when enough is enough. The monsters in this game are only another iteration of the ones from Insidious Dreams, the ninth of the Phantasmat series. I have given this game 3 stars for the sole purpose of keeping the series alive so that they can create a game with a storyline as amazing as I know it can be, Weather Lord: Legendary Hero! have the resources and the talent, I know it's in there guy, find your Phantasmat! The storyline is well crafted, settings can be customized, the HO scenes were a lot of fun, and there are plenty of mini-games.

The visuals are stunning, the artwork its detailed, and the animations are impressive. For me the game is a definite pass and another that is going on my list of non-purchased games. There's no detail to even look at, everything is drab, colorless and boring, no need to pause and take in the beauty of the scenery because there's nothing to look at! Items should be cleverly blended into the scenery and, not unrecognizable because of poor graphics! Although we have seen many of the puzzles before it is a good thing since the instructions are terrible. So what if the creature isn't what you envisioned? Also, the voice-overs and the soundtracks are excellent. I can't even say it's a step backward because they had better graphics originally. Although the location designs are quite creative, they are just not convincing given the mishmash story elements in the game. In this game they have red eyes. The monsters in this game are only another iteration of the ones from Insidious Dreams, the ninth of the Phantasmat series. Phantasmat isn't about reading a thousand loose pages of someone's diary conveniently laying around to explain the story! As always, please try the demo because Phantasmat Remains of Buried Memories might be perfect for you. I think some of the twists in these scenes are quite entertaining and help elevate them above the standards. Can you survive this latest haunted house thriller from Eipix?

This Phantasmat is unique to the previous games in the series so that has caught some players off guard, but give it a chance as I think that this game has great merit. My only complaint with the HOS is that some of the items are very small and blend into the background making them almost invisible. Wow, what an inventive way to add to the length of a game. There were very few puzzles offered here that were actually fun to solve, unfortunately. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories has a runtime of around four hours, and the bonus chapter adds another 50 minutes to the total length. As always, please try the demo because Phantasmat Remains of Buried Memories might be perfect for you. Again, the main issue with Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories is the confusing theme of the Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories. I am never sure whether the game wants to be a serious creepy adventure or a campy horror parody. Highly recommend The scenes are colorless shades of copper or blue and hazy. If you love seeing tree monsters, cobwebs, spiders, and an old house in shambles then you will most likely love this game. On your way to visiting your Mystical Island, you are involved in a car crash and woke up in this very hotel.

Although the location designs are quite creative, they are just not convincing given the mishmash story elements in the game. The Hidden Object Scenes were utterly horrific. The original Phantasmat won a slew of awards wbtw was by a different dev and I urge this dev to take a break and play the original game and then go back to the drawing board and create a Phantasmal Phantasmat worthy of its namesake. Overall, I enjoyed it! I am never sure whether the game wants to be a serious creepy adventure or a campy horror parody. You don't know how you really got there in the first place, and why everyone you meet is behaving erratically. I think some of the twists in these scenes are quite entertaining and help elevate them above the standards. As always, please try the demo because Phantasmat Remains of Buried Memories might be perfect for you. That being said, the best parts of the game are the HOS and the Puzzles. Thankfully, we have had a few wonderful games to start off and those will be the ones I play. Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories is more redeemable when it comes to its gameplay. If you love seeing tree monsters, cobwebs, spiders, and an old house in shambles then you will most likely love this game. Although the location designs are quite creative, they are just not convincing given the mishmash story elements in the game. Three consecutive times, one right after another, in the exact same room doing exactly the same things! I don't mind mind-boggling as long as they aren't frustrating, in fact, I prefer games that require strategy or at least make you think about what you are doing rather than just solving them by memory because you have encountered that puzzle a million times before. Wow, what an inventive way to add to the length of a game. In this game they have red eyes. The worse thing about this game is that there are only 3 areas of activity per detailess scene, a zoom zone on the left, one on the right and one smack dab in the center. On your way to visiting your sister, you are involved in a car crash and woke up in this very hotel. Well, this new sequel certainly does not achieve any of that.

As for the quality of the production, there is nothing wrong with that. Three consecutive times, one right after another, in the exact same room doing exactly the same things! Phantasmat: Remains of Buried Memories is well-made, but has a serious identity crisis — something that needs to be addressed before the next installment. Despite the adventure portion of the game being relatively formulaic, Eipix aims high with the hidden object scenes and the puzzles. The scenes are colorless shades of copper or blue and hazy. With one new Phantasmat sequel, I miss the original Phantasmat one degree more. Although we have seen many of the puzzles before it is a good thing since the instructions are terrible. This developer is the best when setting an atmosphere within each of their games. Although the location designs are quite creative, they are just not convincing given the mishmash story elements in the game. That being said, the best parts of the game are the HOS and the Puzzles. I always like the graphics that this series provides. For me the game is a definite pass and another that is going on my list of non-purchased games. Some of the puzzles were a bit confusing as they didn't give any "info.
