Archimedes: Eureka! Collectors Edition

The great inventor Archimedes presents his newest and most advanced invention: a large winch powered by the wind. Even Hercules is no match for this mechanism! However, it’s no match against nature as a strong gust of wind destroys the device, which in turn, destroys the entire city of Syracuse. Can you guide Archimedes and help rebuild the beautiful city?

Editlon sure what the purpose of the robot woman is but to me, it's totally unnecessary. Would have been better than Hercules if not for the problems I noted. I Archimedes: Eureka! Collectors Edition it stimulating and challenging and the best I've seen in the Editin couple of years as far as new, Farm Frenzy 2 and worth the money in play time. It is a well made game with levels that require strategic and sometimes lateral thinking to complete at the three star level. Loads of levels. My main complaint is that awful annoying robotic woman's voice who makes comments about everything in each level! It's been a long time since I've done little else but try to beat level after level this way. Like other people have said though. Hint: if you just can't finish a level Coolectors expert time, try radically rethinking your strategy -- this game requires some tricks Definitely more "thinky" than "clicky", but the levels still require a focused execution. Please note that we can't help you out if you write about it in your post. I played a lot of TM games during the last years. Graphics are crisp and clear Controls are fairly responsive Storyline is cute Muted the Sound, so can't really comment Level of challenge is Excellent. I guess you could say this one's different because it's set in ancient Greece and is "kin" to the Hercules series? You really need your thinking cap on. Now and again I would even get three!! But there are way better building games than this - like Royal Envoy - that are a lot more creative and original. Thank you! I always have to play in silent mode so I cannot comment on the music. For the developers, I recommend ditching the confirmation dialog when demolishing buildings, Townopolis: Gold adding the workers Collectprs to the build house and decoration information windows.

What the heck is wrong with that episode? This is definitely that game. Submit Thank you for writing a post! It's just the right amount of challenging! Very challenging to get 3 stars. Longer than normal time management games. The graphics are great, the game play is very fluid, and I found nothing amiss. Hoping for a sequel. Good old fashioned, non 3-D TM game. It just takes effort, trying different strategies, and in my case, some cussing oops. I always turn the music down on such games because I find it disturbs my thinking, but I absolutely loved the game. I'm still working on getting 3 stars on certain levels without having to look at the guide, yet. Collector's Edition yet. You cannot cue up actions. You have to rush and rush and rush to get 3 stars. This is definitely that game.

  1. I like challenging games, and my pleasure now is to beat the developer's records. Give it a try. Once you get to about the 20th level for me, at least , you're probably going to need to replay the level in order to get 3 gold stars if that's your goal - again, you can play each level with no time penalty.

  2. No one's written about Archimedes - Eureka! I always have to play in silent mode so I cannot comment on the music. It's hard to get 3 stars.

  3. The graphics are crisp, with beautiful colors. It is challenging requires math and logic skills , but you can play beyond the timer as long as you want on each level, and, best of all, there are a massive amount of levels when compared to recent TM games! I've had to play a few levels over again to get 3 stars.

  4. Now and again I would even get three!! You have to wave your mouse over gold to collect it. My favorite mathematician finally comes into his own. Probably giving up. I have 1 and 2 stars scattered across this game even using the guide's exact instructions, even clicking as fast as humanly possible and working several tasks at once.

  5. Very hard to achieve 3 stars as others have said. Collector's Edition yet. What I like about the game is that you don't have to repeatedly go get wood, or stone, or food in order to complete tasks. Very frustrating! Then I went back and tried for two.

  6. Enjoyed it immensely. One can get 3 Stars on every Level. Definitely fun! Good old fashioned, non 3-D TM game.

I have a fast PC, but my hands are arthritic and not as speedy as they used to be. Would have been better than Hercules if not for the problems I noted. If you love the 12 Labors of Hercules series, you'll love this.

  8. It makes it not as fun when you're frantic to get it done and there's no time to hesitate. To get 3 stars on all levels can be quite challenging and you have to think and rethink how you do things. One example is: Demo an existing Building to get Money back. No one's written about Archimedes - Eureka!

Discuss with other players! Don't really understand the lower ratings that have been posted.
